“Lorenzo?” I rubbed my eyes and sat up, keeping one hand on Jordan’s back. The bond felt heavy, still warm from last night but already shifting into something tighter. Lorenzo ran both hands through his hair. “The person I trained fifteen years ago. Her name is Mara. She’s two territories over, in that old logging settlement near the border.
