My plan for Alex Oliver was to make him as simple as the next man beside us. Alex wasn't hot—he was cute. Alex didn't have any flashy cars—he had a bicycle. He wasn't the CEO of any billionaire company, just a normal twenty seven year old doing his normal stuff.

I invited, not taking my eyes off the sausages I was frying. ​"Can I?" he asked tentatively. ​"Yeah, of course," I insisted. As he walked in, I realized once again how small our house felt. With only two rooms, a kitchen, and a small living area, Luke seemed to tower over everything. Today was Monday, so the parking lot was filled with cars. I paid attention to the teacher for the next fifteen minutes, but something caught my attention outside. A familiar figure walked out into the parking lot and leaned against his car. After a while, someone else approached-a blonde girl with long, tanned legs, showcased by her mini-skirt. She tried to hug him, but he simply unlocked the car and got in. She followed suit, and the tinted windows prevented me from seeing inside. A pang of unease coursed through my chest. I shouldn't be feeling this way, but I couldn't help it. Images of what they might be doing in the car played out in my mind, and I sighe

I already had early acceptance to one of my choice schools in New York but it never hurt to have more options. I looked away from Vander and continued talking to Tiny who was actually quiet large and in his thirties. He was telling my about a garage that a Watchman owned that was looking for a part time mechanic. I had worked as a mechanic in Chicago and I needed to get a job around here. "His Dad owned it but just retired so he took it over. He's only 19 so his dad still helps him oversee it. Let me see if I can find them" Tiny said as he looked around.

Gem spits while standing beside mom who is shaking "Haahaa oh yeah we can see you need breaking in, well don't worry cheery pie there's plenty of us whos willing to oblige, and as for this chocolate muffin," he says nodding to mom "well i don't usually like them older but Mmmmm i think ill have a bite of this one",
