Mason growled. “I will never be done, you monster!” Xenia screamed at him, trying to free her wrists. When that didn’t work, she used her legs, trying to hit him in whatever space was opened. Mason twisted her arms behind her, bringing her close against him. “Stop!” The command moved over her, forcing her to comply but she refused to bow to him. Xenia screamed at him until her voice became hoarse and her body gave in. Mason waited until there was no more fight inside her. He laid her on the bed before looking at the carnage left behind on his chest. Already the scratches were healing, much to Xenia’s displeasure.
