As they all were frightened, covering their mouths, and were sweating heavily, the monster was walking slowly down in the middle of the street. "!!!" All of them were being careful not to make any movements that would cause loud noises that will likely attract the monster to them. But as the monster was passing by, a small kid, just sitting next to them and being quiet the whole time, accidentally got the bottle next to him to fall on the floor. Everyone was quiet for a moment. "Shit!" A loud bang coming from the outside was heard. They all thought the monster had noticed them, but when they looked outside the monster was laying on the ground with its head all gone.

That was my cue to finally leave, so I reached the edge and saw Bloom levitating above the ground, her red hair raised and her eyes white as her hands sent power through the dome. “What's going on?” I asked Gabrielle right away. “They're monsters, but not ordinary monsters; they're lethal,” my Beta said with genuine concern. “Whatever Greco did this time, it seems to be working.” Bloom shouted before sending a stronger burst of energy. Then I saw the dome become transparent, and I could finally see hundreds of monsters falling. They all had blood coming from their ears and noses. It was clear that Bloom had fried their brains to the point of quickly destroying them.

Gunfire filled the air while monster corpses piled up around them. The smell of decay was stronger than ever, thick enough to make an ordinary person sick. Yet neither of them seemed affected by it anymore. After spending so much time in the apocalypse, they had long grown accustomed to such things. Several minutes later, the final monster dropped to the ground. Silence returned. Or at least, that was what they thought. Suddenly.... Rumble! The ground beneath their feet began trembling violently. The unexpected vibration nearly caused both of them to lose their balance. "What the actual fuck?" Darren cursed under his breath as he steadied himself.

"Zergs have corrosive blood! Their shells are hard! They are immune to bullets! Normal people can't kill them!" "Can or can't, we'll see after I try," I say, eyeing the joint between the monster's head and body. I kick off the wall, launching myself into the air. "And who said I was normal?" The Zerg opens its mandibles. I catch its antennae mid-air and swing myself onto its back. I flip the axe in my hand. Thwack. I drive the blade precisely into the gap in its neck armor. I hold onto the handle for dear life as the monster thrashes. I twist the blade. Green slime sprays out. I dodge to the side, avoiding the corrosive splash. Below me, I can feel the axe handle melting from the acid.

I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

"Cameron Stuart! Just how much more trouble are you trying to cause me!" Natalie Parker's shrill voice rang in my ears, jolting me awake. The moment I opened my eyes, I saw her raising a bottle of sulfuric acid to splash it on me. Recalling the unbearable agony that overwhelmed me in my previous life, I instinctively reached out to grab the bottle. Still, some of the liquid splashed out anyway, dripping onto my body. By my count, there are 5 of them with the size of an elephant. They have this brownish color, one eye on the center of the head, two big horns, and sharp long teeth. The monsters are like giant Cyclops if in our world but they look so different. They stand on both two feet and they had these 6 long hands. The one closer to us suddenly growls as they all look at us as if readying themselves to attack.
