This makes you a complicated creature that has ever existed in this world of ours. You have so much powers but the problem is that you don't know how to use them and when to use them."he explained.

I will look death in the face and spit in its eye. He stands over me-the great beast I spent my life hating. I was told my dragon captor would be blue and he is. Though blue doesn't quite cover the shades of color rippling over his scales. From the fairest blue sky to the dark of the moon, the light illuminates his incredible hide. His monstrous body is larger than I ever imagined. And his eyes. Their stunning blue depths hold nothing but death. "What are you staring at, female?"

Then he would face the embodiment of terror. With supernatural speed, I darted across the street and dove into the alley between the two buildings. Bastard didn’t know he was dealing with an enforcer from the Volkovs, the notorious werewolf mafia, and my adopted family. Few outside of our pack knew we were actual werewolves and we liked it that way. My claws extended and I raked them down the side of the dumpster. I heard his heart rate speed up, and I smiled. “You stole from the wrong person,” I said, adding a growl at the end.

He had sharp features but something about his smile made him look kind and friendly. At the end of the sofa sat my boss, Mr. Caelum White, I had seen him often in our company's banners and occasionally saw him walking up to his office. I knew he was drop dead handsome but I was still expecting a human to show up, this man was cut out of a different cloth! His face was just perfect, his straight edged nose and perfect pink lips, his eyes were blue, but not like my fathers, but a blue so deep it could have been black. His hair was black contrasting perfectly to his skin color.

It was as if the entire world had nothing to do with him as if he existed outside of it. "He has emotional detachment," Nathaniel said, his tone laced with mockery. "To put it simply, Liam can’t feel other people’s emotions. He doesn’t even have emotions of his own." His lips twisted into a smirk. "Not surprising, really, considering he had a lunatic for a mother." That was how I found out that Liam was never truly accepted by the Reid family. He had been an unwanted illegitimate son and to force him into their world, they made him watch his own mother die.

And that terrified him. Kristen had looked at him like he was more than a monste, like he was a good man. And deep down, he believed her. But belief is dangerous. It makes you soft. But here, on the peak, the sky was a swirling vortex of black and gold. And there, at the center of the bone circle, stood the Monster. It was ten feet tall, a nightmare of shifting geometry. It had the shadow of a wolf, but its limbs were made of the same silver liquid as Julian’s eyes. It didn't have a face, just a vertical slit of violet light that bled static into the air. "Kael?" I stepped forward, the dagger held low.
