The monster was required to tell its victim its core rules. And those rules came in three parts. Being killed by the monster triggers a loop. The loop has a limit on the number of cycles. The monster can take human form. Three rules, neat and precise. As for the "extra" rule it had told me—that it could alter memories—that was nothing but a lie. The logic was simple. If every loop erased my memory, the monster had absolutely no need to tell me about the loop at all.

She was bloodied and badly wounded but Chloe could feel that she was still alive. The shadows didn’t hesitate. They lunged forward, moving like ghosts as they charged at the creature. The creature let out a enraged shriek that was so loud Chloe thought her eardrums might burst. But still, the wolves carried on, unaffected by the inhuman sound. Something about the shadows charging it down clearly unsettled the mysterious monster because it was off of its victim in an instant darting off into the forest without a trace. The air crackled and rang and bright purplish rays streaked around the skies and a behemothic monolith came crashing down on Lang Mu. Lang Mu let loose a bestial howl as he hectically summoned his powers. The silhouette of a wolf standing on its rear legs appeared once more behind him and it mauled at the falling monolith. "Rumble!" Instead of destroying the monolith, the silhouette of the wolf exploded instead and the ground sank under Lang Mu's feet. Nothing could be done to stop the monolith and it crashed down at Lang Mu. The air resounded with an anguished cry from the Lycan champion as his entire self shone brilliantly in a glow of yellow as he desperately hurled what attacks he could

James laughed and told Micheal not to try it because, Monster is a vampire and he might killed Michael if he found out that zombies resist Micheal's blood, that will be the worst part because he want the world to continue like this.
