Arya said. "None I can see," said the one without a nose. He was squat and thick, with huge hands. Black hair covered his arms and legs and chest, even his back. He reminded Arya of a drawing she had once seen in a book, of an ape from the Summer Isles. The hole in his face made it hard to look at him for long. The bald one opened his mouth and hissed like some immense white lizard. When Arya flinched back, startled, he opened his mouth wide and waggled his tongue at her, only it was more a stump than a tongue. "Stop that," she blurted.

He placed the rune on me again and I fall to the ground, pain wracking my entire body. “Sorry man. Its going to be worse than this though” he places another sigil on me, and I feel the pain subsiding. Every bone in his body would break and reform into what he assumed was his wolf. Even the fur sprouting through his skin was excruciating

I curled up, holding my head tightly. Someone knelt in front of me. A shadowy figure. And whoever it may be, is smiling. The pain had me gritting my teeth and curling my toes. Slowly, my hearing went numb, and my consciousness slipped away.

Ryu stumbled beside me, his breaths ragged, his body trembling with pain that I could see etched deep in every twitch of his muscles.
