Then, another girl walked in.
Her heels clicked loudly against the floor. She wore a white designer gown that flowed behind her, her shoes expensive, her blonde hair perfect. In total, she looked like she lived for attention.
She pulled off her sunglasses with a smile that didn’t reach her eyes. “You look gorgeous. Hi, I’m Natasha,” she said, extending her hand.
“Hi,” I said, shaking it.
“Well, I was supposed to be the main cast,” she said sweetly. “But someone else got the role. Haven’t seen her yet, though.”
