Andreas was seen massaging his own forehead. “I think I’ve just eaten quite a few moments ago, and now I have to eat again...” commented Mrs. Yulia again. “Queerly and peculiarly, as soon as we step into this demons-realm, we feel hungry again – the thing we didn’t feel when we were still in the humans-realm before...” continued Mr. Andreas slightly frowning his forehead.

Andrew closed the laptop making the video stop. Andreas hung his head low. No one could save him. Not even god. Because he is already under the clutches of the devil. "Let's play a game Adreas. Since you are an old friend I am willing to let go..." Andreas looked up at the owner of the voice. His mouth hung low in disbelief. "What game?" Andreas asked cautiously.

He just could not wrap his head around it. Andreas looked at his furrowed brows and knew he had questions and instead of asking him what they were, he did him one better by answering his unasked question. "The girl in question is the best friend of the girl I love" he blurted. "The girl you love?!" Thygas felt like he heard wrong. Andreas could be many thing but not in love. Infact, before this whole tragedy, their most fun thing to do was fuck girls, get drunk and fuck more girls. It was very certain that love was not a thing for them so they did not give it a chance at all. And she easily categorized Andreas into the prior. She had come to the realization that Andreas wasn’t just a normal criminal. He didn’t seem like someone who was doing it just for money, he seemed already rich. Like filthy rich. But he still did unspeakable things. He had far too many resources to do something like rob a bank. That’s what Annalise thought, Andreas was there to rob a bank and she just happened to be at that place at the wrong time. Forcing herself on her elbows and followed by her palms, she sat up the bed and ran her palm through her hair, to ease the sting on her scalp a little bit.

With quick goodnights to each other, they made their way to their respected room. Andreas laid on his bed, thinking about what he just heard from the Wife. He judged her accurately inaccurate. She was nothing like he thought she was. Maybe they should start communicating more. Perhaps they should go somewhere someday. And by eventually, he means tomorrow. So he calls his assistant, not caring about the time to say to cancel all the appointments tomorrow. He would like to spend some time with a particular brown hair innocent-looking girl.

Andreas: “Exactly! Now, I am running this shit show on the side and behind everyone’s back. Adron promised me I would get everything I wanted. I could go free and be the most scared person alive. For years, they will search for me and never find me. I might even allow them to get glimpses of me to keep them guessing.” Me: “Sounds very… inspirational.” Andreas: “I will be a huge inspiration the all the vampires out there!”

Rebecca was sitting in the living room, reading a book and sipping on a cup of tea, when Andreas came in. Andreas looked exhausted and collapsed on the sofa next to her. "Hey," he said, walking over to her and sitting down on the couch. "Hey," she replied, looking up from her book and smiling. "What are you reading?" he asked, leaning over to see the cover of the book. "It's just a novel, nothing too exciting," she said, closing the book and setting it down on her lap.

She was confident that Andreas would do everything with all his heart, because this was not just about the desire for power. As a grandmother close to her grandchildren, Noelle understood Andreas' character very well. The man was relaxed and uninterested in complicated matters. If he could live by photosynthesis, he would just bask in the sunlight. He would just have fun and not care about others. But fate had slapped Andreas with a reality. Everything he owned, everything that should have been his, had been taken away from him one by one by Jonas.

The night air along the Seine carried the faint scent of rain-soaked stone and distant bread ovens, cool enough to raise goosebumps on Andrea’s arms. They walked side by side without touching, the lights of the city reflecting in broken gold ribbons across the dark water. For the first few minutes neither of them spoke, the echo of Henry’s fist connecting with the stranger’s jaw still hanging between them like smoke. Andrea broke the silence first. “I used to collect old maps when I was younger, the faded ones you find in thrift stores. I would pin them to my wall and trace the rivers with my finger, imagining I could step inside them and disappear for a while.”

I dial Andrei's number and he picks up on the first ring. "Hello," he greets, obvious panic in his voice. I can't help but smile. "Andrei, it's me," I say.
