÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷ I'm with mom in the kitchen, making tea and cupcakes for the women from the congregation. She makes cupcakes sweeter than Ramon's. Her creasy face lights up with a smile and it brings life to her beautiful chocolate eyes. "Marisa loved you." I smile. "I loved her too..." "She always talked about you and looked forward to seeing you every time..." "I felt the same way mom..." She seems a bit startled I called her that then her face turns into a sweet smile. "Marisa knew she was dying... The last day before she died, she told me you are the daughter that came to replace her and now she had the chance to go peacefully... To be free from the pain..."

“Would you be here if they did not have sex?” Today, the sun beat down like a man furious on the eatery, baking human bodies along with it. Jason was on day shift and that meant he would be going home soon to see his brothers. Home was one room in their uncle’s house in Daltom where they were allowed to stay for the time and reminded constantly of how useless they were. Once Jason had thought of fighting his uncle and saying ‘fuck off’ to him, but his life savings advised him otherwise. Your voice was muffled, but still managed to let out a soft laugh as you spoke. "The pancakes in your mouth! Disgusting!" I complained, but you only laughed as an answer. We both know how much I don't like seeing the mashed food from the mouth because it often makes me wanna vomit when I am eating at the same time. "But you need to finish up too. We're going to start the messages later," you reminded as you let out a soft laugh. Right. The sixth day was meant for making and filming messages for what you said are sort of a last message in case someone got to leave without giving a proper goodbye.

John had arranged for lawyers ready to defend Tina, but to his surprise, neither Henry and Linda had called the cops. In the evening, he knocked on Tina's door and entered with a glass of warm milk and found her swiping through her phone. It was rare to see her being so focused, so he went up to her and asked, "What are you looking at?" Hearing his voice, Tina finally turned away from her phone and said, "I want to light a candle for Sophie at a shrine." She had stumbled on a chat group of bereaved parents, and they were talking about a certain shrine in Laston that really helped.

Hall picked up his teacup for a long time before finally saying, "Nine days ago, Jess came to see me. She wants to break things off with you." "I don't accept that!" Samson protested. "Then go tell her yourself," Mr. Hall snapped, almost roaring. Samson, a man who had never backed down from any challenge, now lowered his head in defeat. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a row of sunflowers drawn on the back of the marriage application. Ten sunflowers in perfect order. He froze. If each flower stood for a day, that meant it had been exactly ten days.

She blurted out, "You don't mind?" Of course she would throw that question at me. The old me would've flown into a rage and demanded an answer from her. All the ugly scenes in our marriage happened because I lost control of my temper. Even though every single instance was thanks to her. I shook my head. "I don't really care. It's just a ceremony." A long silence later, Lauren said, "We can go to the next city to wind down." I stared at the countdown on my phone. T-minus 10 days. I refused the offer.

I exclaimed, my own voice shattering with terror and longing. He reached out, brushing tears from my face. “I have to, Audrey. Trust that our love is strong enough to hold us together. I’ll be back for you—always.” The last words echoed in my mind: "The final reckoning is near." I closed my eyes and prayed our love would be strong enough to see us through the horrors to come.

"Okay," she said and they headed back up to the cabin. *** The next day was a great deal like the previous day except that it involved saying goodbye to everyone diplomatically instead of saying hello. Cullen, Aislinn, Sarah, Drake, Keith, and Jaylyn as well as the rest of the main group of betas from the den were the last ones to leave that day. The plan was to arrive at the Madadh-Allaidh Saobhaidh, have dinner at the Taigh-Oèsda, do the last of the mourning and then sleep on it all. The next day would return to business as usual.

On our fifth day, we just remained in the house to relax and ready ourselves for our trip tomorrow because we are going home already. I may have mentioned that the life here is so slow, but now, I feel like it has flown so fast. I didn’t even notice that today is our last day here and it kind of makes me sad. But, at least I get to try to stay here for a while and have a fun that I can’t always experience.

The last day. Alexa Today is our last day here. Tomorrow all of us are going to back to our country. It was kind of sad. Now, all of us playing near the seashore happily. Gabriel and Gabriella look so happy playing with water. While Thea and Joseph just sitting a bit far from all of us and I don't know what they talk about there but looks like they already in good term. I wish for the best for you, Thea. "Hey, bae." Jared kiss my cheek and sit next to me on the bench there. I smile at him and lean to his shoulder. "Wish we can be like this forever. Don't have to stress about work or anything. Just stay like this." I said.
