Patrick stood in front of the sofa, pondering over things related to Gloria. Suddenly, he heard light footsteps behind him. Patrick was a werewolf, and he had a keen sense of hearing and smell. Thus, he knew at once that it was Gloria. Patrick turned his head. Seeing how tentative Gloria was, he began to get furious again. His wolf always emphasized that Gloria was their mate, but he never wanted to admit it. He hated to admit that the cowardly, humble woman in front of him was his mate.

“We were looking for them, hoping they survived the extermination.” “Sorry, I don’t know about the pack. I grew up in foster care and realized I was a werewolf when I was 12,” he replies, wincing. Shit. That must have been frightening. It lunged forward again, but Alpha Wade was ready. He met the werewolf's attack with his own, and the two of them grappled on the ground.

An excruciating wave of pain hit my paws as if chaining me down to stop. I let out a painful growl and pushed my paws ahead while my eyes hungrily looked for Bruna. I was slightly taken aback when I saw fur sprawled on the ground. It wasn't Leora's fur. In fact, it couldn't be a wolf's fur. It was red in color. But in the werewolf territory that is strongly guarded and the one that was forbidden to be visited by any other supernatural forces other than werewolves, who the hell was here?

A pack of gray wolves surrounded her and bared their fangs, then two wolves pounced on her, sticking their fangs into her front legs, which made her howl in pain and move away from Aleister's body to straighten her bottom. Kanai furrowed his eyebrows in fear, looking at the gathering of wolves trying hard to penetrate the dome and those surrounding the Queen. Malicious wolves multiplied over the white wolf's body, continuing to shove their fangs into his body and wound him with their claws.
