I frantically reload, silver bullets slippery between my fingers. “MOVE, ALAINA!” Edith screams. Too late. The rogue lunges. I brace myself, eyes shut... And a sickening thud echoes in the dark. Silence. When I open my eyes, time stops. He’s standing still, his head severed from his body. The corpse drops with a heavy crash, the ground beneath it trembling. And there, sword in hand, blood dripping down his wrist... Adrian. He drops the sword beside the body and lifts the head by its scruff. The rogue’s eyes are still faintly twitching.

But considering the fact that Aubrey was frantically crying she let it slide. "I'm Stass, Kat's friend." She said blankly which caused me to lightly chuckle. Why? I have no idea "Nice to meet you Stass, Kat can we please go." She asked with pleading eyes Before I had a chance to respond, Johnson rushed past me and grabbed Aubrey's arms. "Susan, you crazy woman! Miranda came here to check on you, to bring you flowers, and you repay her kindness by throwing her gift on the floor?!" I coldly retorted, "I'm allergic to pollen. Didn't you know that, Ryan?" Ryan froze, his anger fading to embarrassment as he stood there, momentarily speechless. He mumbled an apology. "Sorry, Susan. I forgot—" I cut him off, my voice resolute, "It's over."

So, I just copied Landon and wore headphones and scrolled through my phone. Suddenly, I bumped someone causing me to step back and the person to fall due to the impact. The person, a girl, picked her documents and folders. People stared for a while and proceeded with what they were doing. Some girls murmured stuff to their friends, saying she's lucky to have me bump her while my friends except Landon and I began to walk again and even stepped on a few of her papers. I shake my head in disappointment.

Only the front wall was different, with the floor-length glass allowing a perfect view of the traffic outside. The shop was nearly empty, with only a few people sitting at the tables. There was a small line at the counter, with less than five people there. "What flavor would you like?" Adnan asked. "Vanilla," Afrah replied. "No toppings." "No toppings?" he raised an eyebrow. "Yes." "Why not?" Afrah merely shrugged. "Come on," he groaned. "Live a little. At least have some sprinkles." "Fine," she said, staring down at her hands.

Poppie said getting irritated. “Chile please,” I said, throwing a pillow at her. She caught it and giggled. “Okay shit, it’s just that she saved me Poppie....she really did.” “Well let me in on it, shit,” “She gave me her card that day. She told me that she knew about my record and that I had a good concept but I went about it all wrong. She told me if I ever wanted to know how to do it the right way then to give her a call”

Scrapper is single but is slowly settling down with Zee and her three kids. Pops has three children with his wife Grandy – Patch, Deuce and Alana. (Deuce and Alana are twins) Patch has two sons with his wife Jaye, Molly and Dino. Deuce has two sons, Rocky and Gremlin. Alana has five children – Werewolf (born while she was still in high school) Bear (only biological child of Coon) Sticks, Mia and Chance. Rocky, Dino and Gremlin are married to triplet sisters, Violet, Rose and Heather respectively. They each have a few children but are not really seen in this anthology.
