The captain's girl

The captain's girl

I felt sorry for him, being a captain of a great football team entails a lot of responsibilities, commitment and expectations from what I've seen. "I really admire your strength and like you said 'you won't trade it for anything' So just keep doing your thing and enjoying it, cause there comes a time when you can't do it anymore, and I'm sure you won't regret it, okay?" I tried to be comforting and encouraging which I'm not good at. Ugh. I hope I made sense though. "Yea. Listening to you speak is a good feeling too" he said which made me smile and I felt a little hopeful

Claimed By The Alpha Captain

Claimed By The Alpha Captain

They curled at his sides like he was gripping back a storm. “Everything okay, Captain?” I added, keeping my voice even. He didn’t speak. Instead, he stepped forward. One step. Two. Three. Until there was no space left between us. I had to crane my neck to meet his eyes, and when I did—my breath hitched. They weren’t blue. Not anymore. They were glowing. Not like contacts. Not like tricks of the light. But glowing. Gold. Bright. Flickering like fire trapped in ice. And something behind them—a hunger, a voice, something not human—watched me.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Marcus pointed to the first one that set her eyes on the captain. A female head with a curvy torso up to the navel, and the rest of the body tailed off like a fish. Her hair was a shining burgundy brown in color. She leaped out of the water like a dolphin and slowly swam toward the ship. More Sirens emerged out of the fog. Marcus pointed to one of them that had salmon-colored hair.

This book is my kind of escape. The sequence of events and lifestyle are surprisingly accurate, the story is interesting at the same time with something new coming up every chapter. I definitely encourage well thought out books like this. Keep up the good work!
Christy Pfeiffer

My Captain's Love Sank Before I Did

My Captain's Love Sank Before I Did

She leaned into his chest, a faint, triumphant smile curling her lips. A quiet sigh escaped me. Would he really believe everything she said? I wouldn't even be surprised if my bones were laid before Elijah and Kristen said they belonged to an animal. He'd probably toss them out without a second thought. Just as I was lamenting, his phone rang. He picked it up and glanced at the screen. It was Oscar. "Well? Did you find her?" Elijah's voice still held an edge of anxiety as he spoke. "Captain, I think we've found the shark."

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

Finally, Elise said, “If Orion’s still floating, we need eyes on it. Otherwise, every move we make is blind.” Sophia nodded. “We find it. Carefully.” --- Camilo’s Pacific contacts located a fishing vessel willing to scout the coordinates. Two days later, grainy footage arrived: a massive ship, painted white, drifting as if abandoned. No lights. No visible crew.

Karilaya could not help but shout, hands outstretched towards the captain when she noticed something odd about the beast's eyes. Upon mentioning those words the man was immediately engulfed with a bright orange light at the same time the huge serpent quickly lunge forward. The captain let out a loud roar as he jumped head-on, Karilaya could not avert her eyes as she once again prepared to release another spell. The captain's swords clashed with the beast's fangs yet it was unable to cut it. The creature slithered so fast that it was so hard to see. “My lady!” Captain Maxwell could not help but shout seeing where the beast was heading.

Fake dating the captain

Fake dating the captain

“Ground rules. One: no one's dying in my fucking apartment Two: you shower daily or I hose you down. Three: I’m introducing you to someone.” “No.” “It’s not a rebound thing, I swear. It’s… a plan.” I narrowed my eyes. “Zoe.” She grinned, evil and perfect. “Ever heard of Rowan Parker?” My stomach flipped. Everyone had heard of Rowan Parker. Captain of the Ice Hawks, face like a storm cloud, body like a brick wall, and apparently allergic to relationships. He’d been single for two straight seasons while girls literally threw themselves at him after games.

THE CAPTAIN AND THE KILLER

THE CAPTAIN AND THE KILLER

Clara turned too her smile faltering a little. "Volkov," Evan said. His voice stayed steady but I caught the edge in it. "Did not expect to see you here alone." I shrugged and took a sip of my drink. "Decided to show up. See what all the fuss is about. Looks like you two are having a great time." Clara nodded politely. "It is a nice event. Are you enjoying yourself Kade?" "Enjoying?" I echoed. My eyes stayed locked on Evan. "Hard to enjoy when the captain is out here playing house instead of handling business."

The Dark Below

The Dark Below

The campsite morphs into the slaughter. It is two, maybe three Sirens from the dark that kills them all. The first is Korin who meets his fate by a trident through the throat, in the same way, a fisherman beheads a shark for its flesh. The next one to perish is Sonah. He goes down fighting the red-eyed Siren. Deflecting attacks until another Siren stabs him in the back with so much force that his spine propels outward from his chest and ripping his body almost in half. All the other elves fall from the might of their enemy. Till finally, the three Sirens come across the captain. The elf draws his sword and once the blade meets the air a pink electric forcefield incases the blade. One of the
