It had the royal emblem of a wolf stepping on the moon all around it. “Oh, you're the Human Queen.” He muttered, and I could swear I heard disgust in his voice. “Are you disappointed?” I chuckled, hoping to see his reaction.

“Now, Mira, be a good pet. Crawl to me and put your mouth to use. Show them what you do best.” His words left me hollow and heavy. My limbs turned to stone as the world tilted and faded into a grey, muffled blur. Shock finally shattered what little strength I had left, leaving me trembling and nearly blind. “I said crawl,” Draven’s voice boomed, echoing off the stone walls like a death sentence.
