I’m going to die from it one day, and that day is probably going to be a lot sooner than I want. I joke about Rio’s bike being a bomb, but my heart truly is, and I don’t know the time on it counting down. And living like that? She yelped loudly when Marco caught on to her leg. The adrenaline currently pulsing through her however was strong enough to kick her out of his hold. Gianna didn’t dare slow down and kept running towards the first crack of light she could see. Tears streaked her cheeks, whipped by the stinging wind as her lungs burned. She turned her head around just in time to see Marco explode through the exit behind her and her stomach clenched with fresh terror and a cocktail of hormones.

The accomplice however, is the borrowed heart, which is beating at a perfectly calm seventy-two as if it didn't spend last night throwing pornographic cinema on the inside of my eyelids and then laughing about it.

What happened?” I felt lightheaded as I moved towards her. “Did something happen to Gianna?” “No, shh, just follow me.” I followed Anna to where Rosa was standing outside the door to the home gym slash training room.
