Cris chuckled low, tilting Ken’s chin with one hand. “You’re drunk on adrenaline,” he said. Ken kissed him anyway. Hard. The kiss deepened fast—messy, needy, intense. Clothes shifted. Hands roamed. Ken’s breath hitched. Cris felt his restraint cracking like thin ice. His fangs threatened to descend. He pulled away—too fast. Ken blinked. “What’s wrong?” Cris turned away. “Nothing.” But Ken saw it. The sharp gleam of something unnatural in Cris’s mouth.
