He was smoking a cigar, but he put it into the ashtray before speaking again. He chuckled in a cordial manner. He grinned at Kiara as he turned to face her. The more Kiara looked, the more she realized that his irises weren't quite that black. They had the same color as rhodolite garnet, which shone brilliantly. Raphael was not the menacing, man with the enormous fangs she had imagined. His scar beneath his left eye was the only blemish on his flawless, pale skin. He reminded her of the high-maintained businessman she had only ever seen on television when she was younger. He had no rough traits that suggested he was a fighter or anything like that.

He whispered softly, bowing lightly. He walked far away from me, mingling with other women. I scoffed mentally, knowing that he was a womanizer like his brother. I walked toward Raphael who was waiting for me, great I'm going to be lectured. "Sit down, Hemilia." Raphael said after the door that he leads us into an office, it must be his second office. He was the royal magical physician, he was really known here in the palace. I sat down on the couch, thinking how calmly he is right now.

I walked outside to spread some clothes and I ran in immediately. Laman stood on the floor, his legs shaking. He had fully shifted into a small wolf pup with blue fur. He was wagging his tail repeatedly while Leo was hailing him, clapping his hands and laughing. The shift had torn his clothes to pieces and a large piece of the crib was laying just beside him. “Laman!” I whispered, carrying him up quickly before anyone would walk past the open door and try to attack him. His little wolf form was warm and soft on my neck. Leo reached for me with his hands, his own eyes flashing

I questioned as my gaze fell on the young lady behind her. “Oh, you mean, Sophia?” Aunt Marigold gracefully tugged the lady to the front, brushing her hair. “This is Princess Sophia. Unlike Lirael, who’s usually always in a three-piece suit at work, Raphael has his jacket off and his shirtsleeves rolled up to reveal his muscular forearms. Like his brother, he’s gorgeous, even though he looks quite different from both Lirael and Nathan. Where they’re all dark hair and icy eyes, Raphael is golden-blond and tawny.
