The moment I opened my eyes, I saw her raising a bottle of sulfuric acid to splash it on me. Recalling the unbearable agony that overwhelmed me in my previous life, I instinctively reached out to grab the bottle. Still, some of the liquid splashed out anyway, dripping onto my body. I gasped in pain. After exhaling deeply, I clenched my jaw and caught Natalie by the wrist. "Are you mad? You can kill someone if you throw an entire bottle of sulfuric acid at them! Don't you know that?"

I needed to feed my monsters or there would be consequences. “Hi, handsome. Would you like some company?” I turned and saw an attractive blonde standing next to me. Perfect. I thought to myself. She wasn’t my usual but she would do. So I started my game again. Within thirty minutes she was walking out the door with me. We walked over to my car and I held the door as she climbed in. I smiled to myself as I climbed into the car and drove her to her death. This wasn’t how I wanted the night to end at least not with this woman but it would hold off my demons for now.

“What is that thing?” The monster was a large bear-like creature with horns and stood on two legs. The abdomen was a bit slim in comparison to its really muscular arms and legs. It looked out of proportion with how different their sizes were. The horned bear let out a menacing roar. “It looks like a goabear. But something’s different. That thing in its chest.” Jean said as she stood up. It was as she said, there was an ominous blue glow in its left chest. From the Hunters’ perspective, it was really condensed with mana. As if the goabear was overflowing with power.

“What… what are you plotting?” Lucas smiled and looked at the man who was in his hand faintly. “Let me ask you this, who is the strongest Dark Race in this area?” The man dared not hide anything from Lucas, and quickly said, “It’s Thunder Monster from the Thunder Mountain!” ‘Thunder Monster?’ Lucas had met lots of Thunder Monsters and he did not expect the Thunder Monster was this scary. “The Thunder Monster is…” Before Lucas could finish saying anything, a voice interrupted him. “Let go of him!”

The monster spoke out fiercely with words so loud that it shook the whole place. Alyssa and Darrell looked at each other with their lips trembling, berk chewed on his nails continuously. "Answer me!" The monster said again loudly and this time hitting his foot on the ground causing an earthquake.
