AUTHOR’S POV Alpha Leo stood at the dungeon’s entrance, his posture straight and his jacket neatly adjusted. His cold gaze fell on Alpha Rick, who lay defeated on the dungeon’s dirt-strewn floor, his hands sprawled out carelessly, his body covered with filth. Heat slipped beneath Leo’s skin as he tapped lightly on the gate, a simple gesture to seize Rick’s attention. Rick’s response was immediate; his head jerked up and his hair was messy. He let out a roar that echoed off the stone walls and lunged towards the gate, his movements wild and desperate.

I was on the eighth page when the door opened. "Jesus." I look up and there's Lee staring at me with a kind of crazy look in his eyes. "What?" "You're in my bed and you look like that and you're reading one of my favorite series. And you stood up for me. I'm gonna devour you tonight. All night." Lee said in a low tone. I smiled and set the book on the night stand before sitting up. "Well what are you waiting for?" Lee locked the door and then he's on me. He starts with his lips on my chest which was classily accessible. I felt like he's going to leave marks, but oh well. I have the makeup to cover it up.

Leo let out a breathy laugh. I shut my eyes, refilling my lungs with air. I snuggle even closer to his body, relaxing into his hold.
