We already have an idea, though we had no idea what the word meant, we could still tell it was related to the mysterious rogues who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Those rogues, the shaman had made it clear that they were of the lost bloodline and that they seek revenge, this was due to Ezekiel’s ancestors wiping them out at the early days. However, there was something I still couldn't understand, which is how they had resurfaced. It still baffles me. There was something else the shaman had said which somehow struck my attention. She had said that the rogues who have this lost bloodline running in their veins, have mysterious powers, abilities which normal wolves don't.

Every once in a while, I feel like something is on the tip of my tongue, and then it escapes me before I can put my finger on it. Flipping back to the book, I go back over a particular section around Rogue Kings. A Rogue King is traditionally born through generations of Rogue Kings. There are times when the Rogue King can be selected if they were to challenge for the role, for example. It would be rare to see, but there have been times over the course of history that it has happened. Rogue Kings have been killed off, so how they continue their legacy is uncertain.

Cannibal rogues. I had heard of them. I never encountered them and thankfully so. It was said that they were the cruelest tiers of rogues and that they were directly under the rogue lead in terms of strength. I can only assume that they believed I was taken home since it was so close to their coven. “You don’t have to be polite, dear,” Talia bats her eyelashes at my father, and I have to suppress the growl that is forming in my chest. “You can call them rogues.
