Lincoln’s POV What the hell did she mean that I was a rogue? That question lingered in my mind until someone came to get me. He stood tall, and the red of his hair was like the dying embers of a fire. “You,” I began. “I’m Ruby’s brother, Garnett,” he answered like he was bored as the bars slid open. “Move along. We have no time to waste.” The chains on my wrists were opened, and I was tempted to launch myself against this person, to fight him—to get out of here. But something in his stature and the vast sword strapped on his waist made me stop.

West, another of Alpha Killian's men, tells me with a low chuckle as he carries on walking without even sparing me a glance through his shoulder. I cast a backward glance at the two wolves and the other guy who are walking behind me. The bigger wolf has the same brown smooth fur as Lancelot, and for a moment I let my mind drift over to him. Surprisingly I haven't thought about him that much, maybe because I've been too overwhelmed with the Alpha Killian and his pack members. But what if Killian is bringing me here to kill me, so he and his men can feast on my flesh? There are actually different kinds of packs that do feed on rogues/slaves.

“Sorry, but she is out right now. We all co-own it though, so you’re welcome to speak to me. I promise I have more patience than Solaris does.” I clicked my tongue. The other rogue had stopped unloading and stood with his arms crossed near the front door. They both had brown hair but the one I was speaking to had a lighter, gold tone to his longer hair. Whereas the other had short dark brown hair. They both were muscular but the one in the back looked like he never missed a day at the gym. Both of them had scars on their face, neck and even the exposed part of their arms. Frankly, if I wasn’t an Alpha, I would have been intimidated.

She’d taken them down so expertly that I wondered how she got into the situation in the first place, how they’d managed to ambush her. I thought about stories I’d heard about rogues. There were known to wreak havoc among packs. If she was a typical rogue then I could see how that would be. No wonder pack leaders usually hated them. So much so that if an alpha or luna crossed paths with one, their first instinct would be to kill. I thought about what this meant for my mate, and how my mother would take it. Would my mother try to kill my mate? Of course, I couldn’t let anything happen to her.

At least fifty wolves, maybe more. "These are Rogues who wanted out," Dad explained. "Wolves trying to escape bad situations. Abusive Packs. Criminal organizations. Victor protects them here. Gives them a place to heal and restart." I stared at the scene before me. A small child laughed as her mother chased her. An elderly wolf read a book by lamplight. A young couple held hands, whispering to each other. This wasn't what I expected from the terrifying Rogue Alpha. "The Packs think I'm just a criminal," Victor said from behind me. "They're not completely wrong. But this is what I do with the money I make. I give Rogues a choice. A chance."

One of the rouges muttered. "He is so fast, we won't be able to win," Another rouge said. "We are the one outnumbered, not him," The rouge who spoke out the first time said again. Roy rushed to them and grabbed one of them by the neck. He snapped off his neck and threw him against the others so they they fell to the ground.

I deserve answers," I said. Sean looked over at Stephen, who nodded at him to tell me. "Okay, your parents were not murdered by bears. The policeman that told you that was a Rogue," Sean said "What's a Rogue?" I asked "A Rogue is a wolf without a Pack. They live alone. They normally did something bad to get kicked out of their Pack, like kill someone or betray their Alpha," Sean said "Why would a Rogue tell Jenn and me that our parents were killed in an animal attack?" I asked

My mother closes the mind link and stands next to my father, who checks our invites by the two Crescent Moon warriors. Rogues are wolves who have been banished or rejected from their packs. The majority of rogues are criminals; they have no rules or morals. They attack at the slightest sign of weakness, raping women and killing anyone in their path. In other words, they cause chaos and destruction.

I will do anything to help, even if it means risking my own life too. And so I stepped down from the podium, dagger clutched in my hand and determination gripping my heart, even more firmly than my hand gripped the dagger. When I was a few feet away from the clash, I stopped and observed. It was easy to differentiate a normal wolf from a rogue. While rogues are lanky with careless moves, Werewolves are more muscled with precise moves. In short, the rogue might attack and miss, but when a wolf attacks, it's taking an enemy down.

“That was the invitation he needed, Micheal leading his hu dreads of pawns, surge toward us violently, I have no idea what we are going to do or how we are going to overcome such amount of rouges but I know want thing for sure, none of us is dying tonight, not while we are together, never! With that thought in mind, I waltzed forward with determination, dipping my teeth into the first rouge that came my way. Gliding and avoiding the overwhelming number of bastards coming for me. That is one thing with rouges, they are only violent and would never give up, not until the last one drop dead on the ground but they are not skilled fighters either. There is a reason they are referred to as rouges,
