I asked Logan while watching Kyrie and Roxy discussing something about their meeting. I can feel a growing emotion in my chest as I watch them sitting together. I just don't want to entertain it much because at work and I need to be professional, otherwise, Kyrie might embarrass me, again, in front of everyone. "Roxy is the illegitimate daughter of Ms. Cole, one of the Menzel's Empire's top investors. She recently made Roxy to be her representative." Logan simply said before he took note on his pad. Illegitimate child?

I watch humour spread on Lorenzo’s face as Marco stops and points at a woman. Roxy? I’m going to assume she is Roxy. “This is Roxy. She’s a family friend,” Marco states, yet Lorenzo laughs. “A friend, sure, brother.” He continues laughing, and Marco frowns at him. I give a quick nod, unwilling to speak yet. My voice will break. I know it will. Roxy is far from a family friend, but I can’t talk, as I shouldn’t know that. She is stunning, though, maybe in her thirties, and her blonde hair floats down her back.

Evelyn's POV "I, Alpha Kyle Turner, reject you, Evelyn Sanders, as my mate." Alpha Kyle hoarse voice boomed in my ears making me freeze on my tracks, his voice laced with disgust. Crack! A cracking sound resounded inside my body and I felt as if a part of me was forcefully torn and taken away. My wolf howled in pain but there was nothing I could do about it. Tears flowed down my face as the pain became immeasurable, increasing with each second to the point I was unable to tolerate it. I could care less about the gazes on me. I was already used to it.

Roxy sneers while rolling her eyes. Sabrina knows that with my word, Roxy can tear her down like a grizzly bear. Roxy, right now, is like a lioness. She's eyeing her prey closely, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce on it and devour it mercilessly. Sabrina turns to me and begs to be heard.

"I know, but Damon…" My mother had suddenly appeared at the door, attracted by the brewing noise; her eyes had grown wide as she spotted Damon and Cassandra half-naked. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! Your ‘precious’ daughter tried to sneak in and attack Damon! She's trying to get obsessed with him! She doesn't want to accept that the Alpha already chose me. Your daughter keeps doing crazy things even when I'm the true Luna. I have been waiting for this poor thing of yours to leave him for me!"

“I did not mark her. She isn’t mine, yet. But if you raise a blade—you all challenge me. Not just him.” From the corner of her vision, Charollet watched Kade’s jaw tighten. His voice even rang through stone. “You... want her?” Boris spat. Kade stepped forward, his blade lowered under torchlight. “If she must be marked—I, not you, will claim her. Tonight.” Charollet froze. She was going to be Kade's luna? this was a betrayal she was not expecting. She should have realised that Kade was incapable to being anything but selfish. She shattred under the pressure and collapsed on the floor as tears spilled down her cheeks.

They were reminding me of that. “Caroline swears by them,” Corrine continued, gesturing to the Luna beside her. “Two drops in the morning tea. My daughter conceived within the first month. I will have some sent to you. I believe that you can benefit greatly from them. And the alpha is going to be very happy.” I forced a polite smile despite my reddening cheeks. “That’s… thoughtful of you.” My voice was even, but my pulse wasn’t. I could feel Xavier’s attention sharpen beside me, though he said nothing.

Roxanne cautioned and started moving to the Wolf's cage. Be careful Hun.. remember what Mr Gorgeous said. Sylvia yelled as she walked to the Den. ••••••••••••••• Roxanne ran to the cage and looked inside. Wow... beautiful creatures. She muttered and brought out her phone to take pictures. She heard low growling and looked up. Huh? Her eyes widened and her Jaw dropped. Their eyes turned Blue, one after the other and they were all up, staring at her.

Cynthia chuckled at my shocked expression, “Would you like to tell her, Roxanne? Or should I do the honors?” Roxanne gave a small bow, “Whichever pleases my lady.” I flinched at her words. My lady. That’s when I saw it—the small smile tugging at Roxanne’s lips. I felt sick. “What happened to you?” My voice cracked. “You were my best friend. Why?” Roxanne finally met my gaze, but there was no guilt—just calm acceptance. “I was tired,” she admitted. “Tired of always defending you, tired of being the only one standing beside a wolf-less omega. No one wanted me. But now? Now, I am respected. I am Luna Cynthia’s personal maid. Do you know what that means?”
