Phoenix said tiredly. The Ray guy stretched his hand out for a shake which I accepted, " nice to meet you, Luna" he smiled showing off his pearly white teeth. I smiled back, " it's just Clover" I said. Phoenix suddenly growled loudly, making me jump in fear. Ray released my hand and backed up, " sorry" he apologized and showed his neck in submission. Phoenix's eyes glazed over and so did Ray's, I guess they were mind linking. I turned my confused gaze to Tobias, but found him glaring at Ray. Okay, what the fuck am I missing here?

But it was the way he was looking at me that made my pulse kick into overdrive. His eyes weren't just politely taking in my face. They were dragging slowly down the drape of my cowl neck, lingering on the heavy swell of my cleavage, before dropping to the tight knit fabric hugging my waist and thighs. It was a slow, deliberate appraisal. A hungry, calculating stare that made my skin prickle. "You must be Roxy," he said, his lips curving into a polite, devastatingly handsome smile. "I'm Leo. Arthur's son."

Roxy sneered but didn't seem irritated. "So, there really is? Who is it? Is it still, Marcus?" Lia immediately caught and tried to catch Roxy. Roxy suddenly blushed. "What... again, honey? Marcus and I never had anything before. Why it's 'Marcus again', huh?" Roxy leered at Lia. "What 'WHAT' is that? Continue that 'what' sentence, Rox." Summer frowned and wandered at Lia and Roxy's conversations.

Rosie reclined with her eyes closed, her back cradled against Gregory's chest, listening to the sound of lapping water as his hands glided lazily over her in the tub. He’d washed her hair and then her body, pampering her, spoiling her. "Tell me about him," he murmured, his arms wrapping around her waist. "Your ex, the one that hurt you. Tell me about him." She took a deep breath. She'd been waiting for him to ask about Owen for a long time. After Annie revealed what Owen told her when he accosted her at the Mall, she suspected Gregory had somehow found out that Owen was her infamous ex.

For some reason, his heart clenched, and he added, "She doesn't handle alcohol well. If she starts making a scene later, it'll disturb the other guests, and it'll embarrass you, too. You understand, right, Stella?" Ordinarily, I would've kicked up a fuss by now. But this time, I simply smiled. "Of course. Drive safe." Bryan frowned. It looked like he had more to say, but at the very next second, Roxy collapsed into his arms and draped herself all over him. With her cheek pressed against his neck, she said in a sweet, coquettish voice, "Let's go, Mr. Sable… My body's burning up… I want you so badly…"

Andrea stated. We all got along pretty well after that. Andrea and Roxy became friends. Roxy got updates from specialists and was able to change Leo’s medication. He is doing great. Everything is perfect. We were all getting along just fine. Roxy had to head back to New York because of her work. Her vacation was over and I wasn’t able to get back to New York with her.

"I know, I know. I'll be careful." As Jaxon left the room with Cynthia, Freddy turned to Roxy with a mischievous glint in his eye. "So, spill the tea. Are you the friend in a messy situationship?" Roxy's face flushed, and she nodded sheepishly. "Yeah, that's me." Freddy's eyes widened. "And is the man Mr. Hearst?" Roxy nodded again, and Freddy let out a low whistle. "Wow, I can't believe it. You're having an affair with Mr. Hearst!"

Even her name felt like a punch to the gut. "Well, well. Running away from a little vet?" Roxy's voice cut through his spiral. She was leaning against her cherry-red Harley, looking like sin in leather pants and a cropped Iron Fangs cut that showed off her toned midriff. "That's not like you, baby." He glared at her. The endearment felt wrong now, like ash in his mouth. "What are you doing here, Rox?" She feigned innocence but the bitch was anything but innocent. She was always up Blaze's ass and didn't hide she wanted him as her chosen.
