She didn't wait for an answer. She plucked the note and read it with a little laugh.

The first image showed the turtle and the rabbit facing each other behind the decks, which Alice recognized as the scene where she had her job interview at the Dream High Hotel.

At the end of the hall, a door sat slightly ajar. I pushed it open… and froze. The room was filled with portraits of me. Me dancing on stage. Me reading quietly in the library. Me sitting alone on a park bench, lost in thought. Every angle of me, every moment… Jordan had captured in painstaking detail. I stepped closer to one painting. Then she reached for my perfume.. fuck! my favorite one and sprayed it over herself again and again, until the room smelled like roses and smoke. “Blaire, whatever your name is,” I shouted in her head. “Stop using my perfume like you own it!” She rolled her eyes, smirking. “Shut up, Rose,” she said flatly. “Before I shut that mouth of yours forever, dumbass.”

He was surprised when I gave him the canvas. "Whoa! This is majestic, Cleo!" I beamed. "I'm glad that you like it." "I don't just like it! I love it!" I tousled his hair. "Thank you, baby.
