"And yes, you can live longer than a hundred years old if you're cursed, it might be a pain, and you lose people you care about, but I guess it's better than dying." Suddenly, the jokes and cocky smirks came to an end. Harlow watched as his lips formed to a straight line, and his eyes shifted. His shoulders hunched forward, and under his breath, he muttered, "Like Saden." Harlow didn't know who Sadan was, but from how his mood changed, it was someone important to him. She took a deep breath, suddenly understanding the grief he was going through. It wasn't easy to lose someone; Harlow knew that better than anyone.
