She sighed as her gaze trailed off me for a second before she brought it back, “You really wanna know?” “Yes.” “Like I said just now, I didn’t leave. I’m not just any shifter Logan, I’m an actual shapeshifter. I can become anything I want to be, transform into anybody or animal, so long as it’s a living creature. I was able to escape custody by becoming one of the guards, I lived as the guard I became and killed the real one.”

Now I knew they were real, and one was here in our pack. The traitor was still here living among us, hiding where we couldn't see them. This shape shifter could be anyone, they could look like a man one day and a woman the next. They had a voice that scared me and blood-red nails that promised death to anyone who got in their way. And worst of all, this dangerous enemy saw me as a big problem that needed to be solved. A problem they needed to remove forever so their evil plans could work. I stood up from the bench, my legs feeling weak and shaky beneath me. I knew I had to tell someone about this right away. I had to warn Noah and Neal about what I had seen in my vision.

There, standing before me, was a perfect replica of myself. It wore my face, my clothes. Its posture was identical to mine. The cold, calculating look in its eyes mirrored my own. A shapeshifter. My jaw tightened. I hadn’t expected this. Shape-shifter wasn't allowed to be in human world because of their ability to change into anything. How did it be here? The creature grinned, its lips curling into an unsettling smile. It stepped toward me, its movements too fluid, too calculated. “You’re different,” it said, its voice eerily familiar. “Stronger than the others.”

But according to Jessie was a shapeshifter, taking on the form of Bernice. Shapeshifters are powered by the full moon. However, their powers are limited. If they use them too much at once, they won’t be able to shift again until they recharge under the full moon. Which was exactly what Cora was going to need to do if she wanted to continue being Bernice. “I still can’t get it out of my head…” Jessie breathed, her tone growing shaky. “One minute she was Bernice… and the next….” She paused to gather her thoughts. “It wasn’t Bernice. I knew something was weird about her…”

His eyes widened in shock. “My name is Nora. The shapeshifter.”

I mumbled and I heard him chuckled lowly then turn to me " you talk too much Cammy " "what! how dare you say that to my face "I shriek and he rolled his eyes " you brought be to this smelling godforsaken dump hole and I expect me to keep shut like a lost sheep huh ."I half yelled and he nodded like what I just said meant nothing to him "I heard a shapeshifter can also copy their victims powers " he said trying to start a conversation as we walked down the dark stinking street . " well no ,we can copy Identity but not powers only gifted shifters can do such "I said and he hummed lowly the stop walking and turn to me .

Aric asked, scanning the battlefield for any sign of his treacherous fiancée. "I don't know," Kaida replied, her eyes darting back and forth. "But we can't let our guard down." Just then, they heard a loud roar and turned to see a group of Shapeshifters charging toward them. The creatures were larger and stronger than any they had faced before, and their claws and teeth were razor-sharp. Aric and Kaida fought the Shapeshifters with all their might, but the creatures seemed unstoppable. They dodged their attacks and bit through armor as if it were paper. Aric knew they needed to do something to turn the tide of the battle.

, Hollywood had nothing on real life. Her stomach roiled at the sight. The shifter’s flesh trembled and took on the consistency of what looked like lumpy pudding as it bubbled, rippled, and moved to refit the shifter into a human shape. Muscles tensed and pushed against the liquid-looking skin. So much so that she could see when they snapped from its bones. Bones that snapped and jutted out in odd angles before they slid back into place with a grotesquely squashed sound.

Poor Isaac was killed by this sickish monster. "So what are you then? A shapeshifter?" I inquired with a disgusted look. "That's close enough. You see all these crappy books and fairy tale bullshit has gotten the whole world mind warped about the true concept of what exactly is a shape shifter but darling I am the real deal. I'm the all powerful trickster Alectryon" he boasted with an evil smirk. In all I learnt about how to kill a shape shifted was they could only be killed by either ripping out their hearts which was a messy option and would require me using my magic which I couldn't risk doing, the other way to kill one was by staking its heart with a woode

“She–” I twitch a single finger. There’s no light. No sound. No glow to my skin. The shapeshifter's neck snaps with an echoing crack, and its disguise slips away, revealing a small framed man in his early twenties. A cousin of mine, most likely. Who even knows these days? I have hundreds of them. Too many to count.
