She asked as she noticed the ring on his finger. “Yeah…I am.” Steve replied. “I guess…you don’t have a happy home right?” She asked. “Yeah…I apologize for the way I went off you last night, honestly I just couldn’t control myself.” Steve muttered sadly. “It’s fine…at least I enjoy it…you’re so good in bed!” She exclaimed. “What the hell….” Steve said to himself. “You nearly died last night…and you aren’t even bothered!” Steve said in disbelief. “Well.. I’m not dead.. so cut the crap.” She said blatantly. “Seeing your face clearly now…I know you, you’re MR STEVE PARKER, the CEO of RUSEL LTD.” She added.

Epilogue - Miley's Point-of-View Steve was sentenced to death. Before the execution, I went to see him one last time. Through the iron bars, he taunted, "Miley, you cost me the career I cared about most, and I cost you the sister you loved most. Guess we're even." I didn't take the bait. Instead, I kept my voice calm as I replied, "Steve, according to your plan, your wife, son, and parents should be safely out of the country by now, right?"

Steve was still angry after Sam left. He just didn't understand why everyone honored this devil-like god so much so that they all wanted to take his side. He had never expected that from Sam. Sam was his cousin and he should have been more important to him than a mere friend! But no, Sam took Lim's side. Steve sat back on the chair and took the TV remote to watch something —anything that could take his mind away from his current problems. And as soon as he turned on the television, the channel that popped up was talking about the wealthiest young man in the country —which was Lim Walter.

"What's up, man?" "You know exactly what's up," Steve replied, stepping closer. His boots crunched against the loose gravel with each step, the sound sharp in the quiet afternoon air. "You've been avoiding us." Another figure stepped out from behind the maintenance shed, blocking Caleb's only exit route. This one was taller but leaner than Steve, with stringy blond hair that hung in greasy strands around a face marked by old acne scars. His name was Tommy, and he had a reputation for enjoying his work a little too much.

I said. Steve got out of his truck and crossed the lawn and up the steps. Snake and I stood up and shook hands with Steve and he introduced himself as Steve Moore and I said, "I'm Britt Benson and this is Charlie Wilson. Please have a seat, would you like a bottle of water?" He said, "Yes ma'am I really would." I looked at snake and he said, "Yes ma'am I would like one also." I went into the house to get three bottles of water and while I was gone, Steve asked snake, "Is this some kind of test or a joke, she doesn't have a shirt on."

I smirked. He raised his hands and pulled the mask away in a swift move. Steve? “Surprise!!!” He extended both hands like an uncle who was surprising his nephew. “What the hell are you doing here? Why are you here and this? The nerve of you,” I said. From the corner of my eyes, I could see that Bruno was already on his feet. He is moving close to me, one hand on his shoulder. “You don't look as surprised as I expected. Were you perhaps expecting me?” I knew Steve was a madman, but I never pegged him as a psycho. He must be good at hiding it well. “Who should I kill first?” Steve asked.

He turned his back on Shane and retraced his steps to the chair, where he sat down. "Okay boss!" As soon as Shane had gone, Steve took up his phone and began dialling a number as soon as he had a moment to himself. The person who was on the other end of the line answered the call almost as soon as it was placed. "How are you this morning, Mr Steve!" The phone was answered by a man of middle age, who spoke with a tone that exuded a great deal of difference. "Good morning, doctor! I'm hoping Shane could run into you somewhere in the city right now." Steve doesn't waste much time and gets right to the point of phoning him without any delay.

Hawkins poured himself another cup of coffee and sat down again, this time with a more serious look in his eyes. He turned to Steve. “Son, can I ask you something?” Steve looked up. “Of course dad, what is it?” Mr. Hawkins placed his cup on the table, folded his hands together, and looked straight at Steve. “Where were you for all that time?” Steve looked down for a moment, as if searching for the right words. He picked up his own cup but didn’t drink from it. “There was something that happened at Gabste,” he said quietly. “Nothing too serious, just work stuff. Things got a bit messy and I didn’t want to worry anyone.”

Charle’s POV “I’m here to give you a warning, Charles,” Steve said, his voice low and menacing. “You think you’re untouchable, don’t you? Living your happy little life with your perfect wife, blissfully unaware of what’s coming for you.” I felt a knot form in my stomach, a sense of dread creeping over me. “What are you talking about, Steve? Get to the point.” Steve smirked, a twisted gleam in his eyes. “I know your little secret, Charles. And let me tell you, it’s going to blow up in your face. You thought you could leave me behind, but you’re not getting away that easily.”

Steve is one of the most famous actors in the country and has been named the sexiest and most handsome man of the year several times by several magazines. For a second I'm a little embarrassed not to have recognized him, but then, I’m not in the best frame of mind right now, which reminds me of the fact that I have yet to be on my way to the hospital. “Alright, alright. Let’s go.” I tell him urgently, and soon, we’re on our way to the hospital that Harper has been taken to. Steve tries to make small talk on the way there, but I'm just too unsettled to participate in it, and in the end, he understands and leaves me alone.
