Chapter 8- Down below Raven’s POV I sit on my bed, legs crossed, Sienna’s earring resting in my palm like a loaded gun. Ten minutes. That’s how long I’ve been waiting, and I know she’ll walk in any second now, lie cocked and ready on her tongue. Sienna’s always been a good liar. Right on cue, the door handle turns. She steps in, startled, eyes widening as she sees me. Her hair’s wet, makeup washed away, and her eyes,red-rimmed and guilty.

" Sienna's laughter intensified, echoing off the walls like a haunting melody. She paced around me, reveling in my pain. "What happened, you ask?" she spat, her eyes gleaming with madness. "Life happened, Rose. Life showed me the futility of trust and the weakness of love and family. It taught me that power is the only true currency in this world." I clenched my teeth, fighting against the waves of agony that threatened to consume me. "Sienna, you're wrong," I whispered. Sienna's laughter turned bitter, and she knelt down beside me, her face twisted with a mix of rage and desperation. She grabbed my chin, squeezing it, causing me to cry in pain.

It's just that her thoughts are too loud. I never passed you off as one to flirt Alpha. But you’ve been really busy." She winked and sauntered out of the ward as if she didn't just make Lea want to find a hole and hide. I stared at her in amusement as her face grew redder. Sienna was a powerful witch who could read minds by touch. A smile crossed my face as I approached the bed.

Sienna felt the dew from the grass permeate her canvas pumps as she walked across the sprawling lawn outside the Rec Centre. She looked up from her sodden, grass-covered shoes to see Adrian and Riley were already waiting by the entrance. The pair were leaning on the smooth metal bike rack, talking about something funny if their laughter was anything to go by. Her heart pounded as she looked at Adrian’s smile, sending a flourish of adrenaline that rushed to unlock the cages of butterflies in her tummy. This happened every time she saw him without fail, even if he'd only left the room for minutes. Seeing him was like a drug.

Rachel “Jayce, are you going to tell me where the heck has been driving us for a long time?” I sighed, resting my head on the headrest. “Calm down and just relax,” Jayce said, giving me a small smile before turning his focus to the road. “It’s been one hour,” I complained. “No, to mention this place looks pretty damn scary,” “It’s not scary, it’s calming.” I scanned his face, only to find him smiling. “Calming yeah, more like horrifying,”

“I’ll be going to the underwater world with you. If you perform well, I can consider…” At this point, Sienna puffed a breath at everyone, and all the whiners fell under her spell. It was as if Sienna had controlled them, and no one dared to disobey her. “Dear warriors, I want to find the Binary Herb in the underwater world. Can you help me?” Sienna smiled expectantly as everyone fell under her control. “Don't worry, we’ll definitely enter the underwater world and find the Binary Herb for you.” “I’ll do everything I can to bring it back for you, even if it costs my life!”
