She tried to blow it off, but her mind betrayed her. Her lips betrayed her, parting open as if ready to protest but failing to let out words. She tried to tell him not to be so touchy when there were others around. But all her attempts came out wrong, like a cry for help. The only argument her mind could make up was, “there are people here.” And her lips delivered the sheepish words in the meekest tone ever. To that his response would always be, “so?” To which she was unable to formulate any other argument. She wanted to talk, but her lips betrayed her.

He asks when he sees my stunned expression. I force a smile, trying to push away the feelings of guilt and unease. "Yeah, I'm fine," I reply, my voice sounding hollow even to my own ears. "Just thought I saw something, that's all. I apologize for being distracted." I say, giving him a sheepish smile.

My eyes widened, betraying the whirlwind of panic swirling within me as I processed the gravity of my oversight. I nervously fidgeted, my fingers tangling in my hair, avoiding Sheila's penetrating gaze as I scrambled for a plausible excuse. "Uh, sorry, Sheila," I stuttered, the words stumbling out in a jumble. Tension coiled in my shoulders, the weight of the situation pressing down on me. "We were just... um, talking about... gardening stuff!" I blurted out, desperation lacing my voice, hoping she'd accept my feeble attempt at explanation. Raising an eyebrow, Sheila seemed far from convinced by my explanation. "Gardening techniques?" she echoed skeptically, her gaze narrowing as doubt flick

There were several questions in her mind and I simply gave her a sheepish smile. "You forgot, didn't you?"

"Can I help you?" "Yes," I said with a grin. Trish shook my hand to just ignore her but I couldn't. I'd teach her some manners. She looked like she'd need a lot of it. "Who are you by the way?" One of the sheep flocking around her asked. "Where I come from, it is considered rude to start a conversation by asking rubbish questions," I said without ending the grin on my face. Blondie looked like she would rip my head off. Her anger was fueled by Trisha's snicker.

No, please don't. The males shove the helpless sheep to the ground preparing it for death as I do my best to conceal the wild tremors of my hands. The crowds laugh and ridicule the sheep for its vulnerability for this is the land where the weak are butchered. Understanding settles in and I struggle to breathe in denial. That sheep is me.

I couldn't help but wonder what had stirred such a reaction. Undeterred I turned my attention back to Daphne who stood before me with a sheepish smirk curving her lips. I didn't know what the smirk was supposed to mean but I knew for sure it wasn't a good sign. "Are you just going to stare at me? Won't you bow your head?"

Alex reassures me with a gentle smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners in amusement. As I watch Alex, I can't help but notice how incredibly handsome he looks when he smiles. It's a rare sight, but when it graces his lips, it transforms his face, lighting up his features in a way that is both captivating and endearing. In that moment, I find myself wishing he would do it more often, allowing me to bask in the radiance of his smile. With a sheepish grin, I thank him once more, feeling a surge of appreciation for his unexpected kindness.

Rhea was speechless with his shameless words, she looked around and saw everyone giving her a teasing look which made her so embarrassed. She stared at the speechless Luke with bloodshot eyes. Luke scratched his head, he forgot to whisper it in her ear, so he smiled sheepishly and tried to hug her, but she gave him a stern look which paused his movements, making him pout his lips in grievance.
