Our Audi has bulletproof—" "What are you? Trying to sell me an Audi or something? Are you working on commision here?" I frowned. "I'm sorry, Sir!" the soldier straightened up.

"We will not falter! We are the guardians of this fortress, and we will hold until the enemy is repelled!" I heard a nearby soldier shout, "Alpha, look over there!" and my eyes snapped to the spot. One of Stella’s elite, a hulking figure in dark armor, charged forward with lethal intent. I readied my sword, stepping into the fray, but the enemy was too swift. The soldier landed a brutal blow, and my vision blurred momentarily as I fought to remain conscious.
