Supes that will now answer to him, whether it’s through brainwashing, Alpha command or some weird serum they’ve been given, I don't know. He’s coming after you Cedric.” “Let him come.” Cedric snarls beside me. “He’s lived too long anyway.”

I crashed unceremoniously, cascading off the wall and hitting the ground hard. Expletives hissed through my teeth as I pushed myself up. Asher rushed to my side. "What sorcery is this?" I growled, my eyes flashing. Was this another demon? I didn't recall Selina possessing any magical abilities beyond healing. Asher and I both snapped our gazes toward her. "Who are you?" I breathed, my words cautious. I was in no position to fight, but I would not succumb easily to a demon. "Don't tell me the Trickster is back," Asher muttered, fear bleeding into his tone. We had believed it was over, that we would finally find rest, but we were clearly wrong.

Tristan looked at the man and the people behind him. It was certain that they were up to no good but Tristan applied patience in handling these mortals. He was a certified Supreme Existence after all. The heir of the Primal Author himself, complete with all the powers and memories that came with it. Tricksters are cunning creatures and can't be trusted. The only thing they care about is what benefits them." Zac answered. "Then why would she come here and leave without gaining anything in return?" Hunter asked. "I have a feeling she came here to tell us about the prophecy for a reason. When we first heard about it, she said it was in her interest to ensure the prophecy came true. I don't know what she wants, but we can worry about that later."
