The Eclipse Secret Child
I said, looking at Koran, then at the sky, "They can continue to bleed each other dry in the name of 'purity,' or they can bow to the balance."
"They won't bow easily," Koran warned, though his eyes never left the child, "The High Council will see him as an abomination, the Lunar Priests will call him a thief of the tides."
"Then let them come," I said, the black silk-shadows and silver Solar-fire swirling together around my feet in a perfect, lethal braid, "I spent my life as a shadow to a King, now, I am the mother of the Eclipse, and the world is going to learn that the dark is only scary if you don't know who’s leading you through it."
