Something sparked inside Tyler's eyes while he pulled his lips onto a wide grin. Kelsey fell speechless and glared at him with her cheeks flushed fully red. She could not fight back even if she wanted to. She could feel Tyler’s palms scorching her skin. Her cheeks were so red that she no longer knew what to do with herself. “My foot still hurts!” She scrambled for anything to get her out of the situation. “That won’t get in the way,” Tyler declared with a fervent, burning look in his eyes. “No, wait…” Kelsey was very flustered.

His face turns a bright shade of red, and a few of the others burst into laughter, nudging him with elbows and grins. “Come on, don’t be shy now,” I tease, arching a brow. “You had a lot to say earlier.” He fumbles with his canteen, trying to play it cool. “Didn’t think you heard that.” “Oh, I heard it,” I say lightly, still smiling. “Monster, was it? Because I knocked you flat in under thirty seconds?” The laughter gets louder. Even Darren cracks a grin. Tyler runs a hand through his hair, not sure if he should apologize or laugh with them. “It was the heat of the moment.”

His body starts to shift into his wolf. "My Queen!" Sydeny says behind me and I turn my head to look her way. Her concerns turn to horror as whatever she sees on my face makes her take a step back. "Please, you'll kill him and we still need information." She pleads. I face Tyler who is now rolling on the floor and then I stop and take a seat. Tyler lays spread eagled on the floor, panting hard. He rolls over and vomits. "Oh gods, that's just nasty!" Sydney murmurs.

Says the one who was talking first. "Obviously, I do know if she is standing here. Right? Switch that god damn brain of yours on. How should she get in here otherwise?" "What the fuck? I thought you didn't know her? How many times did I ask you about her?" That guy is talking as if his dream has just come true. Great, so now I'm known as the bikini girl, with what seems to be Dean's friends. "Jesus, red is definitely your colour, mysterious girl. I'm Tyler, by the way."

I couldn’t wait to get away from everyone. I went to Tyler’s room and I got in the shower and I stayed in there for a really long time under the hot water and I washed my hair and every inch of my body. Scrubbing it like I was really dirty, but all that did was make my skin even redder. It even started coming up with little blood spots where I was scrubbing. I didn’t notice at first but Tyler came in to check on me and when he saw what I was doing he quickly shut off the water and wrapped a towel around me.

His junior brothers immediately attended to him when he spat out blood, his face pale. "You are still so weak Tyler, your Soaring Cloud Clan will never have a chance to make a comeback with you as the heir, they better start rethinking their decisions," The person on the ground named Tyler had his white robe already dyed out with red but even though there was blood on his lips, he firmly stayed seated, his sword struck in the ground serving as his support as his trembling hand was still holding the hilt, staying stronger without completely falling in the ground.

I snapped. I was flush against the wall now and Tyler boxed me in with a hand on either side of me. My breathing grew rapid and I kept my eyes fixed on his. Tyler’s pupils were huge and a vein in his forehead looked like it might explode. “You’re fighting it,” I pointed out. “You don’t want to change here. You don’t want my blood on your hands.” “You don’t know what I want.” He leaned so his face was nearly touching mine. Then he breathed in as if smelling me.
