Everything stops! Silence.

Noah Clayton My biggest fear in life is to experience heart attack and die young that's why I have a really healthy lifestyle and make sure to exercise everyday. I know that I could take care of myself most of the time but the woman who's sitting in front of me not. She's beautiful and no one could deny that statement. She's attractive and yes, she has her ways how to make people look at her. She's smart and I'm sure she is because she's running a big company. But she's careless and she needs a lot of attention. She's handful and that's the last thing I want from a woman.

Anders stepped up to the bed and sternly replied, "No, she doesn't. She wants you to be strong and live again and be patient until you can be togehter again. Now, I want you to stop this foolishness. No more death talk!" He contunued to mumble a string of profanities at Anders and Finn, refusing to look at them when he heard Finn say, "Anders, you know what he needs. He needs another shock to his system. One that will jumpstart his heart, so that he knows he's alive." "True, true. What do you propose?" Drake looked from one to the other and shook his head, saying "No! Nope! Don't you dare Finn!"

" | jumped back in the air but he moved to the right and | lost my footing, stumbling in my steps. "See Penelope? You can't even stand correctly." He said and | started to hit his chest through the gray fabric of his shirt. "Shut...up...and give me...the bottle!" | kept saying but running out of breath. "Then let me at least help you. | saw some errors of yours, Penelope. Let me help you." | finally gave up and stood with my arms slumped at my sides and my lungs pumping with me panting from jumping up and down repeatedly.

She paused. Inhaling a soft breath, Crystal nodded. "Yes, sometimes literally the death of our heart occurs, but it's for a limited time. Our hearts don't stop beating even for a second. If it stopped beating, we'll be expired. When people feel sad, they'll be immersed in the word 'sad.' If we want to overcome it, all we have to do is to forget the words which make us sad, which makes us think."

She would not let this end in failure. "You don't even understand what heart failure means," Donald sneered. "I'm an expert, so let me spell it out. There's nothing left to do. The heart is the body's engine. Once it fails, the body shuts down!"

Pulsing. Like a heartbeat. And then— It stopped.

Now I have the added pressure that I may fall when I touch her. “Wait… did you say something about my heart stopping?” I hesitate. “Yes, but don’t worry, it’s only for a second. Think of it more like a reboot than a stop,” Luke says. “Oh, that makes it so much better,” I mutter. If I think about this any longer, then my heart will stop on its own before I even touch her. So I don’t wait a second longer. I suck in a breath and wrap my hand around Harper’s, squeezing my eyes shut and waiting for something.

My heart stopped. "Astance?"
