Maverick scoffed as he leaned back to the table since he was sitting on the carpet and connected the bottle to his lips and took a gulped before slamming the bottle down "I'm such an idiot. I thought...I could get away... hiccups...it's...I...it wasn't real...but I felt it" he stuttered the words out which came out all slurred. It was hard to think in such a state and Victor was familiar with this.
