Derek said as he moved closer to her and obstructed her from running by putting his left hand on the wall. "You are not one." Veronica said as fear traced every word. "I'm not what?." We’re going to have to talk for a bit, darling.” Veronica stepped up to her, raising her chin at her, keeping the tremors in her voice in check, “No we don’t. You are playing with fire, Dr. York. Let go of me right now. You have no idea who we are.” She chuckled nonchalantly, taking another step forward, looking down on her, crowding her, “Your achievements might be impressive, Ms. Veronica Chase but to surely you know better than to threaten me like this.”
