Jackson couldn't let Jessika stay here and get deeper into the pit of iniquity. Tonight was unlike any other night. Jackson could see the comfort women moving from the lower class to the VIP class. Within moments, the first attackers were in her face, swinging, slashing. Caitlin’s instincts took over. Her vampire speed and reflexes, all her years of training with Aiden, took. She found herself parrying and slashing back, kicking and dodging and rolling. As three vampires charged and brought down their swords at the same time in a well-coordinated attack, she spun and slashed all three swords away as she came back around, and kicked one hard with a spinning roundhouse kick, knocking him hard into the other warriors—who all landed on top of each other.

He anticipated her movements, adapting to her speed. The battle stretched on, the tension thickening as neither showed signs of surrender. Wolves from the expedition watched in silence, eyes wide with awe and apprehension. This wasn’t just a fight—it was a statement. Then— A slip. A fraction of a second where Varyn was too slow. Caitlyn seized it. She moved in a blur, dodging his next attack and slamming her fist into his ribs. Varyn staggered, and in that moment of weakness, Caitlyn struck him to the ground, her claws at his throat.

Once I explain everything to her later she'll forgive me. I'd asked for his help but I didn't know he was going to get her a car that's faster and way more expensive than mine, but he knows just where to hit Colt. He got on top of her, pinning her down. Aiden stepped forward. “CAIN!” he yelled out. But Cain didn’t care. He’d pinned her down, and used his knees to dig into her arms, holding her in place so she couldn’t move. Then he reached up as if to choke her. Caitlin felt an unearthly rage come over her. As she watched Cain’s hands go for her throat, she let her power overcome her for real this time. She broke free of his grasp, grabbed his wrist at the last second, and spun it around. She rolled on top of him, twisting it back.

The only clan that separated them from Keitan. Dinah knew that well and she had an interesting plan in mind. One so perfectly articulated and expressed with so much charm and of course, pain. Chapter 9 Caitlyn was standing beside her gate when Martin arrived in his car. She was wearing a black leather skirt that stopped way above her knees, a small white top that clung to her body, a black leather jacket, and a white shoe to match. Martin swallowed nothing as he stared at her. He was mesmerized by her beautiful face and body. He cleared his throat nervously, winded down, and poked his head out a little. "Get in!" He ordered her. She smiled and quickly rushed to enter the car.
