The Alpha's Mate (#1 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

The Alpha's Mate (#1 The Southern Werewolves Pack Series)

Vincent groaned as he got up from the ground. He dusted his pants and smiled again, narrowly avoiding another incoming assault. Then, Cohen retreated into the cabin. Vincent Hale, the second-in-command of the fifth battalion who was supposed to be dead over a decade ago after Mira killed him except that he was right here as healthy as the horses. Wrong species, but everyone understood.

Empress, your vest has fallen!

Empress, your vest has fallen!

Cristine inquired about their names as they drove. Vince is a shy yet articulate guy. Supremo was the name given to Mark. Rey is the most conceited member of the group. The rest were James and Dale, who were not particularly talkative but more attentive. Dale was calmly eyeing everyone, and Christian was another injured person. Cristine reasoned that she was bringing everyone to her hospital, so it would be understandable if they noticed one or two. She had previously noted their facial expressions and actions. It was quite good, and if someone leaked it, there was no need to warn them about the consequences.

"My future Luna might be in that group. The noise Brynn makes in her throat as she backs away is comical. The only reason she applied in the first place was 'for a laugh' as she liked to say. As I Desire Pack member, whoever gets chosen probably doesn't affect her. "In that group, is Haven Reed from the Vengeance Pack. According to her online profile, she just broke up with her boyfriend and applied for this as I was to get back at her former boyfriend. As a member of that Pack, she clearly doesn't believe much in mates," Zariah tells us.

She muttered beneath her breath as i closed my eyes, heaving a deep sigh. “You are so strong” The nurse said as i pointed to the man at the opposite side. “He is, i meet him here and i leave him here. Almost as if he never leaves” “That’s Josh. He’s fifty six battling brain cancer and yea, he is strong” I had finally met someone as old as i was, but he looked way older, with his bald head and i understood that was the work of chemo.

That's the man who helped Jackson. - What is your name? – I could see in his face that he knew I had already identified him. - My name is Jack. Everything went downhill afterward. I kept the exchange short, trying to get out of there. He could hurt me or my pup. One hit on my head, and all I saw was darkness.

The man’s eyes met mine from under the hood and for the first time since I met him the first time, I couldn’t help but frown when I noticed how familiar he looked. “You really want to play this game against me, little wolf?” He asked, and I scoffed at his confidence. The man started something that he knows as well as he knows his name that he cannot finish. My eyes caught sight of Diego as he walked behind him, and it wasn’t until he pulled his hood off, revealing his face before I threw a knife at him, hitting his shoulder, that we both frowned when we saw who it was.

Sorin was stubborn as a mule and Maceo knew Sorin wasn't gonna accept anytime soon the fact that he was still hurting or more than accepting he just didn't want to show it. Maceo hoped that it wouldn't destroy Sorin. Sorin had been broken already as it was. ____________________________________________________________________ BAM! Sorin landed a perfect hit on his opponent's jaw making his opponent gush out blood from his lips. His opponent grunted as he staggered back. His opponent was stocked up, big muscles and all but in height he was almost same as Sorin, maybe even an inch smaller giving Sorin the advantage of speed and height which he was using to the fullest potential.

I flew into a tree and gasped as my shoulder dislocated under the force of hitting it. Standing up, I placed my palm against my shoulder and popped it back in, crying out in pain. Taking a deep breath, I held up both my swords again to the two vampires in front of me. Bucho though had left the group to the two wolves and was running towards us. Smiling, I stepped forward and attacked. I distracted both of them enough to allow Bucho to claw the back of the one on the left. I took the right one, his arm still hanging off his shoulder.

Love the story It isn’t an all sunshines and daisies book It’s much more real The characters feel real with emotions all over the place and conflict that is more realistic I recommend it and I will finish it and read more from the author however I think the book is going to cost almost $50
Christina
Such an incredible story! To write with such intricacy with each of characters and then throw in such powerful and complex relationships, the story definitely took a life of its own. Be prepared for tissues, being angry and yelling at some of the characters and even laughing.
