Kyle growled, his voice low and dangerous. Gilbert glared up at him, refusing to answer. Instead, he suddenly lunged, his claws swiping at Kyle’s chest. But Kyle’s sharp reflexes deflected the attack with ease. In one swift motion, he launched a powerful counterattack, slamming Gilbert into the ground with a bone-crushing force. Kyle pressed his paw against the wound in Gilbert’s arm, twisting it deeper. Gilbert let out a guttural groan of pain. “Who sent you? Are you working for the hunters?” Kyle demanded again, his eyes narrowing.

"Gilbert, this is Alexa." Gilbert extended his hand towards Alexa, his smile a bit too wide, his eyes a bit too bright. "Enchanted," he said, his voice cracking slightly. As Gilbert extended his hand towards Alexa, she couldn't help but take a moment to really look at him. He was a sight to behold, the epitome of a fairytale prince.
