CHAPTER 62 Umalis na ako sa kompanya at napamura na lang nang biglang maramdaman ang malalakas na patak ng ulan sa labas. Sumilong ako sa ilalim ng maliit na waiting shed. Naghihintay ako ng tricycle na puwedeng marentahan dahil sobrang lakas na talaga ng ulan para takbuhin ko! Mag-isa lang ako sa waiting shed, at mukhang walang may balak sumilong dito dahil panay na ang tulo ng ulan sa bubong!

POV: Marie Umulan ng malakas kaya pinili nilang tumigil muna sa may gutter at magpatila muna da waiting shed. Sabi kasi ni Rain, baka abutin sila ng pagtaas ng tubig sa dadaanan nila, kaya bumaba sila at sa waiting shed na malapit sa police station sila tumambay. Nagpaalam saglit si Rain upang bumili ng kape sa katapat na convenient store.

The wind rose up and the tinkling sounds came to my ears as the first pearl of the rain dropped onto the floor. Lumingap ako para maghanap ng masisilongan. I saw the waiting shed across the street pero puno na nang mga taong gusto sumilong ang nandoon. The rain is incessant. The wind whips up into frenzy and it's shrieking hell out of me. I don't have a choice but to run back to Resto'Bar. Yakap ang sarili ay tumayo ako sa gilid ng establisyemento at tiningala ang langit.

May maliit na waiting shed sa di-kalayuan bago pa niya naapak ang paa doon ay nagsimula ng pumatak ang mga maliliit na butil ng tubig mula sa kawalan. Pinagpag niya ang suot na puting pulo upang tuyuin iyon. Naupo siya sa isang antigong upuan habang nilakbay ang paningin sa buong paligid. Nilalaro ng mga butil ng tubig ang mga bulaklak at dahon na tila sumasayaw sa katuwaan. It was quite amusing and very pleasing to the eyes to witness the flowers dancing under the rain. Nature does so many miracles though. Nasa gano'n punto siya nang may naulingigan siyang panauhin mula sa kabilang ibayo.

Napabuntong hingina ako at nahinto sa pag iyak ng makaupo sa waiting shed, puro kamalasan na lang ang nangyayari sa akin at ayaw ko ng paabutin pa ang kamalasan ko hanggang mamayang gabi, kinuha ko ang phone ko sa bulsa ng pants ko at nagtype sa aking notes.
