We Go Up Romane & Geschichten

I tell them all. With minimal grumbling, they all follow me as we make the trek up to the top of the ridge. Luckily, the ground is grassy and we are not walking up anything like sand that would make us sink. It is quite an easy trek to make it to the top of the ridge.

We are far weaker if we are only in groups of two. No man is getting hurt today; no man will be put in a deliberate line of danger. We will find these assholes, and when we do, we will take them out. Then we make our way upstairs.

Once we reached our condominium building and rode the elevator, I was confused when instead of pressing the seventh floor, they pressed the uppermost floor. "That's not our floor," I said. "We know," the three of them replied at the same time. My brows furrowed, "Why are we heading to the uppermost floor then?" Keziah pressed her index finger on my lips, "Ssh. Just wait and see." What are these three up to? I'm really hungry! I shouldn't have gone with Marrah and Keziah earlier. There's still a next time anyway. I just wanted to eat and lie down!
