A wolf came and knocked the huntress off of me. It was small (at least for a wolf), its fur a reddish-brown, its brown eyes so dark that they became black in the dim light of our refuge. I recognized it as Maddie at once. Shifting form is, as I'm sure I mentioned before, tricky. You have to make sure that all the important parts come apart and back together in the right order, or you may find yourself wearing an internal organ as a hat. Because of this, it could take some time to pull off a full transformation from man to beast, especially the first few times.

For now, he would play along with her. Bending low, he took a breath and shifted for the first time. His bones popped painfully, wrenching out a growl from him. His body increased in size and contorted as the broken bones struggled to rearrange. A long mournful howl broke out of him as his back arched and black fur spurted out. His face gradually faded, being replaced with an elongated snout, sharp canines gleaming. In his place, a big black wolf stood. It shook out its magnificent dark fur and howled towards the sky. Its head reached Andromeda's shoulders and he regarded the witch with glowing yellow eyes.

From a young age I learned to fight a lot of people at once, so holding off these werewolves for a short period of time shouldn't be a problem. After I hit the two wounded werewolves, all the werewolves transformed and jumped at me. Their fangs were normal but their claws were extremely sharp. I was scratched a few times and felt dizzy. My eyes saw everything so blurry, my hands started to shake. Maybe their fingernails are laced with anesthetic. They were well prepared to deal with us. I forced myself to stay calm and continued to scratch my wolves one by one. Both men bowed a little in greeting. "You're bleeding," the other man noted, pointing at Lucas' shoulder. He was obviously a gamma. He had the build of a soldier. Lucas wondered if he should transform to his werewolf form. He would heal faster if he did. But as a human, the healing process was slower. He just needed to get to the pack healer and he would be treated.

“I have been waiting for you.” Before I could react, his body began to change. His muscles bulged, and dark energy swirled around him, making the air crackle with power. His transformation was terrifying. He was no longer just a werewolf—he was something far worse. Some of the pack members began to transform, their bodies shifting into their wolf forms. Their transformation started from the hair of their heads to the soles of their feet. The agonizing transformation was accompanied by howls, deepened by the pain of crackling bones and limbs.

Peering through the leaves, my eyes widened in astonishment at the scene unfolding before me. A figure emerged from the dense bush, their silhouette was towering and muscular. My breath hitched as I recognized the shape of a man, a human. But there was something off, something wild in his stance and movements. Suddenly, in a swift, fluid motion, the man's body contorted and expanded, his limbs elongating and thickening. Before my eyes, he transformed into a towering, majestic werewolf, his fur as dark as the night sky.

It was a world alive with possibilities, where the ordinary and the extraordinary coexisted. As I watched, the werewolves shed their human forms like a second skin, revealing their true essence. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous – limbs elongated, muscles rippled, and fur sprouted in a mesmerizing dance of metamorphosis. It was as if they were embracing their primal selves with an exuberant joy that was contagious.

Weredragons are creatures that were able to transform at night to humans and sometimes with characteristics of a full-grown dragons. They are humans in shape but their skin transformed into reptilian scales, and they grew fangs and claws, a tail, and wings, all reminiscent of a specific species of dragon. Those able to truly assume the shape of a dragon also gained all the corresponding dragon powers. Upon transformation into hybrid from, weredragons gained the ability to make dangerous bite and claw attacks. Frighteningly, they also spew fire from their breath.

As the creature lunged forward, Darell's instincts took over. He felt the familiar surge of power as his body began to shift and twist, his bones cracking and reforming into a new shape. In moments, he had transformed into a massive, fearsome werewolf himself. Marcelyn wasn't far behind. She had always been able to sense danger, and as soon as the werewolf appeared, she knew what she had to do. She closed her eyes, focusing her mind and her will, and felt the familiar surge of energy coursing through her veins. Her teeth sharpened, her eyes glowed red, and her body began to change, her skin turning pale and cold as she became a powerful vampire.
