His lips press against the cut, and the moment his fangs sink in, Achilles stiffens.
His pupils dilate, his body going unnaturally still. Then, slowly, the transformation begins.
His shape ripples, distorting like liquid shadow. First, he shifts into a massive wolf, fur black as night, eyes gleaming with unnatural intelligence.
Then, in the next breath, he melts into a panther, muscles coiled with raw power.
Another shift, and he becomes a monstrous bear, towering and solid.
