The words hit her like a physical blow. Blind. She was blind. And no matter how much she screamed or cried, no one could help. They tried, of course. Every healer, every divinator, every doctor who had any experience with magic came to her. They poked, prodded, did everything they could, but the blindness remained. And it was getting worse. Day by day, the blackness filled more and more of her vision, until there was nothing left.
