“Good girl," Marshall smiled as he walked over to Willow's wolf who was still whimpering on the floor but staring up at him with adorable eyes. He dropped to one knee and reached out to poke her cheeks with his elongated fingers and Marshall was unprepared for what happened next. Willow’s wolf rose to full height and jumped on him, knocking him to the ground. Her wolf’s tongue came out to lick all over his face as she happily wagged her tail. Her wolf’s excitement was so contagious, that Marshall who was on the floor could not control his laughter. As he laughed, he reached up to rub her soft silky fur.

Layla POV All the pups that Willow brought with her now have homes; it never ceases to amaze me how quickly children can adapt to new surroundings. Willow and Riley have marked each other. Willow is a beautiful she-wolf with a loving nature; Riley and Willow are perfect for each other. Darius and I are on our way to my territory; Anita has gone into labor, and Diana is there, but both Zach and Anita have asked if I could be with her in case Zach passes out as Drew did.

Drake murmurs, dropping yet another spoonful of sugar into his already overly-milked coffee. “I need a pig.” His hand freezes mid-air. He blinks at her, frowning. “A pig?” She nods with total seriousness. “Yep.” “And why, exactly, would you need a pig?” She sighs like she’s been waiting her whole life to explain this. “Because my wolves need a challenge. Goats are too slow. Pigs are smarter, and they’ve got more meat on them. My wolves will enjoy hunting them. So, I need more than one.”

I stammer out, and Hendrix chuckles at my hesitation. Willow nods at me and turns the radio on. Foxy Lady. She hums along to it, swaying in her seat. I can tell every movement is deliberate, designed to tease me. “What’s your wolf’s name?” I blurt out. “Jamie,” she says, smiling up at me. “Jamie?” I snort. “Are you for real?” “Yeah,” her brows furrow the slightest bit. It’s adorable. “What is yours?” “Hendrix,” he speaks through me, and I don’t have to think too hard to know my eyes are rimmed with red right now.

Jasper looks suspicious, but kisses her hand and waits to hear what she has to say. “Dad- uh, I-I mean, Mister Cirillo bought us a puppy to be friends with our wolves. His name is Mister Happy. He’s a Saint Barnyard and still in our bedroom.” Kara pouts to match Katie. Jasper suppresses a laugh at her mispronunciation. “He’ll be sad without us.”

I looked around all my options there was a teddy bear, a red monkey, Pikachu, hippopotamus, tikki (from lady bug show), a blue sloth, super Mario and finally a grey wolf. It took me a minute to think, it's a very important choice to make. I tried holding each stuffy and giving it a hug. I knew Vincent was watching my whole encounter with the stuffies and smiling. When I finally made my choice I turned to daddy smiling. "So who's the winner?" he ask sounding really interested I take the wolf out of the pile and show it to him with a proud smile on my face. What did they have in common? ----------------------------- The caves outside town were filled with bats and cobwebs. Not much else was out this far, except the wolves that had made this their home in the last few months. Blue eyes watched the interactions of the pack with amusement. What a pig! I went to my locker. While I was arranging my stuff inside the locker when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I saw behind me, standing a gorgeous red-haired girl with the darkest green eyes that I had ever seen. Beside her stood a very attractive guy. They both resemble each other. But instead of red hair he had chocolate brown hair. They both were werewolves. The girl was mated. There were teeth marks on her neck. "Hi I am Willow and this is my twin brother Cedar. I want to say your eyes are gorgeous".
