“It would benefit the pack if young Collins joined the ice rotation with Jess.” Without looking up from his display, the boy shook his head, rejecting the offer. “Collins Parker has an advanced curriculum mapped out by his academy for the winter months,” I answered for him. “His line will not clear for casual skates until a week before the Spring Festival. Are your blades resting today, Job? If your schedule is open, stay for the caribou roast tonight.” Job inclined his head. “The snow has stacked deep against your palisade. Collins Parker, Jess, grab your winter gear. Let us settle this with a snow fight in the courtyard!”

Her hair draped over her shoulders like she was the goddess of the goddamn ocean and maybe it was just me but I think she illuminated in the water. We played in the water for quite a while before finding our way back up. We kept splashing water on each other like children and competing with each other who could hold their breath under the water longer. The first time Winter dived in and didn’t come back out in thirty seconds, I was scared she had drowned but it turned out she’s just a werewolf with aquatic powers. I opened the door to see the kitchen was a mess. Flour littered the floor, with some kitchen utensils scattered about. Upon walking closer, I saw Winter by the sink, her index finger under the running tap. “Are you okay?” I asked, rushing towards her. This caused her to turn to me. “I was bored, so I tried to bake,” she said, casually. “What happened?” I asked, but I didn’t need an explanation to know what had happened.

I nodded and smile. “Okay.” The souvenir shop is just near from where we are skiing so we just decided to go there already. I decided to buy some for Christine and my siblings. There were so many adorable items and souvenirs in the shop but then the figurine of a blue penguin caught my eye. It really looks like that pororo that Lucifer really likes. I’m sure he’ll be so happy to see this.
