They sniffed the air, picking up on the distinctive scent of the Quercia and set off behind the buildings and into the nearby small stretches of land still covered in trees, away from human eyes. Feeling the ground beneath him vibrate with the hundreds of varying sources cleared his mind; he homed in on the unmistakable movements of a wolf and sped up. A few yards ahead he spotted the pale, mixed coloring of a pack member and signaled to Gil to get around him. The underling caught wind of them and attempted to throw them off by taking to the alleys, but Gil arrived to cut off the path. Victor dove in on him from behind, aiming for the shoulder with a shallow bite.

In the back of my mind, I am hoping the software is wrong and we get nothing out of searching the area. I follow 2010 into the forest and he looks at the trees and forest floor, “Nothing seems disturbed here; we go deeper.” I nod and our feet crunch the pine needles and dirt below. The walk is silent until suddenly 2010 breaks the silence, “There are free wolves?” he asks. I sigh, nodding, “Yes, we are bred from captured wolves. Either bred in-house or made from their DNA.” He stops for a moment but then continues to walk, “How do you know all of this?” he asks.

The spokesperson for the elder council even had a faint smile on his lips. “Your defence is that as Luna Rayvin hasn’t had her Luna ceremony, your actions can’t be seen as treason?” he asked Mikael’s father. “Yes.” ‘What a load of bullshit.’ Mikael linked Rayvin. “I know Max, but think happy thoughts,’ she told him. “As former Alpha, could you inform me what happens when a wolf turns eighteen?” the old warrior asked Johaness. “They will have their coming-of-age ceremony and become a member of the pack in their own right,” he answered.

He spoke: "I know you are confused about a lot of things: you have been given a gift by the Oracle- you are now a werewolf but your mind is yet to adapt to your new abilities. You will experience heightened senses, a burning anger, and a fearful hunger. Under a full moon, your abilities will increase but so will your desire for blood. Gradually with every word that he spoke, Nicole was beginning to regain her consciousness but just then a day tipped over one of the stainless steel objects there that made such a loud sound. The sound broke Nicole’s concentration within her body and triggered the wolf even more, they hated loud sound or bright light. The she wolf was pissed now and broke the second restraint almost immediately. Then the rampage begun, she went towards Henry and growled really loudly like she was about to attack him but she was slightly able to recognize him, she tossed him aside and then Nicole turned and rammed her way through the door of the basement.

They were said to be marked and blessed by the moon goddess for they were the first of her followers. They were given the title of Legacy Wolves, keeping up their tradition and passing on their special traits through their children.

Each pack had its unique attire, making it easy to distinguish them. The she-wolves wearing pristine white garments were clearly from the Glacier Pack, their attire reflecting the icy lands they hailed from. Their presence exuded an air of cold elegance. On the other hand, the she-wolves donned in vibrant yellow attire hailed from the Sun Pack. Their outfits radiated warmth and vitality, mirroring the sunny region they represented.

His eyes met mine one last time before he took a deep breath and shifted. His bones cracked and within seconds, his wolf form stood in front of me. It was sleek, dark gray, and looked strong but it was smaller than Kaden’s massive brown wolf. Kaden’s wolf let out a deep growl, showing his sharp teeth before lunging again. Kellan’s wolf tried to dodge, but Kaden tackled him hard to the ground. They rolled over each other, teeth snapping, claws ripping into flesh. Kellan’s wolf managed to bite down on Kaden’s shoulder, but Kaden shook him off like he weighed nothing.
