The wolf jumped again towards the Cursed until they were slammed into a tree. Hugo's breath jolted out, his gaze turned angry. Aryadi grunted in front of his enemy's face while sticking his claws into the man's chest. Hugo shouted out once. His body trembled for a moment before yawning and quickly turning into a wolf in red fur. Aryadi the black wolf gave a startled voice. Hugo took advantage of that split second by throwing the wolf Aryadi's body. Aryadi was thrown several fathoms while Hugo stood tall in his form as a wolf proudly.

The she-wolf got up not so briskly, spending precious seconds on it. Howl. And a new player on the field. New enemy or help? Dark gray skinned, it bristled and snarled before attacking. A jump - and now he repels the wolf from the she-wolf. He jumped to his feet and grappled with a new opponent. When the she-wolf pounced from behind, he released the first wolf and threw her aside. My two defenders again prepared to attack, but the stranger, bristling, retreated, and while there was an opportunity, he disappeared into the forest. He did not fight against two werewolves.

Gradually with every word that he spoke, Nicole was beginning to regain her consciousness but just then a day tipped over one of the stainless steel objects there that made such a loud sound. The sound broke Nicole’s concentration within her body and triggered the wolf even more, they hated loud sound or bright light. The she wolf was pissed now and broke the second restraint almost immediately. Then the rampage begun, she went towards Henry and growled really loudly like she was about to attack him but she was slightly able to recognize him, she tossed him aside and then Nicole turned and rammed her way through the door of the basement.

Some were frozen in running positions while others were stooped, cowering from an unknown force. The wolves were a different scenario. Some were crouched on their hind legs, fur bristling, and lips curled back into snarls as they prepared to launch themselves at the enemy. By looking into their eyes, you could see the hatred and slight fear as they wrestled with whatever foe was harming them. Other wolves were on the ground, injured. Some with chunks of skin torn out and others with scratch marks across their face and stomachs. Why was this so realistic?

Fuck, that hurt! That wolf was not light, and I was completely crushed under him. Now I was totally and completely useless. Alex glanced my way, and I sensed a deep grief and worry from him, only making my situation that much worse. He looked as if he was going to move toward me, but the other wolf plunged his claws into Alex’s back, and Alex turned his attention away from me instantly, trying to keep himself alive.

In the blown window, a brown she-wolf crouched half inside, breath hot and rotten, eyes intelligent and hateful. “Out of my house!” Jake bellowed. The wolf weighed him, then lifted a muscled forearm as he fired. Rounds sparked off hide and bone. Zak and Tara piled in. “Smart bitch,” Jake snapped, still working the trigger. “She’s not going down!” Zak barked, stitching a burst. “Body!” Jake yelled. They dragged fire off the skull. The she-wolf shrieked, rocked, then vaulted backward into the yard and vanished into the dark.

So be it. The wolves lunged.

My heart beat faster as I alighted the car and walked towards him. His scent is clean and sharp, like a crisp pine forest after a fresh rain. It carries the tang of cedar and the faintest hint of smoky embers, grounding him in strength and authority. It’s the scent of the wilderness—untamed, but with an underlying control that mirrors his dominant nature. Whenever I catch his scent, it brings a sense of stability and protection, yet with a dangerous edge that keeps me on high alert.
