RED HOT STORIES (A COLLECTION OF ST*AMY STORIES)

VickyyFirst-Person POVSteamyCEOAffairAge GapForbidden Love
“Writers need people who make them think. Otherwise you end up writing about characters who never risk anything.” “Maybe I’m learning,” I said quietly. He met my gaze. “I think you are.” When I stepped outside, the rain had stopped. The street glistened under the soft gold of evening. I walked slowly, feeling something new growing inside me something light and restless. That night, I wrote until midnight. > “Desire begins in the spaces between words. It’s the pause before a touch, the thought before a smile. It’s the quiet ache of wanting to understand someone’s soul.”

Bryantbetrayed myselfBetrayalher betrayal his reckoning
And this time, the foundation will be the truth. I paused, my eyes flicking over the words I had written, letting them simmer in my mind. My thoughts felt heavier than usual, and I knew I needed to give them space to breathe. I’d write more in the morning—when my mind was sharper, clear of the fatigue that clung to me like a damp blanket after a long, grueling day of holding the whole damn line. But for now, this was the skeleton—the very heart of what I wanted to say.

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

Also, it is okay to go with the flow and do things at a slower pace so I can process what I’ve been through and what I’m still experiencing. When are you most creative? Why do you think that might be?...I think I’m most creative when I have been struck with inspiration from what’s around me. At that moment if I could find a quiet place and I had a pen and paper on my hands, I could weave stories inspired by the conversations, body language and facial expressions. I realized that writing is both an escape and a way for me to keep my focus on what’s most important.’

No matter how big my writing career might become, this—our little family—would always be my heart. Later, after Luca was dropped off at school and Noah headed to work, I found myself alone again with my thoughts. I sat at my desk, staring at a blank document on my laptop. The cursor blinked at me like a challenge. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes and let the noise in my head fade away. I thought about everything that had brought me here—the struggles, the victories, the love that had carried me through it all. When I opened my eyes, my fingers began to move, almost on their own. Words spilled onto the screen, raw and unfiltered.

Xiao, the Soulwaker

It was completely messed up, a true-looking disaster of scribbles which he never understood what for. “I am writing. In my mind,” Xiao defended herself, “these are my writings. These are what currently residing in my mind,” she seriously said, without any hidden smile, which made the other leave a blank expression on the face, “I’m trying to write a diary. And it’s in my mind. These are currently my own thoughts,” she said once more before she looked at the notepad that’s floating on the air. It was indeed just scribbles if you take a look at them, but the truth behind, they weren’t because she was plotting something and she didn’t want anyone to know and so she hid them in her own thoughts.

And how that smile of his could shatter the hardest writer’s block with the gentleness of a whisper. Rachel closed her eyes, took a deep breath and exhaled slowly in an attempt to blow away the phantom image. She placed her fingers on the keyboard and started typing random words and jagged sentences, hoping somehow to ignite her creative fire. The writing didn’t have to be great. Hell, it didn’t even have to be good. It only had to fill the empty screen. Then, she would go back, fine-tune, edit, correct, re-edit again and again until she had the final, perfect chapter. The process would take her hours, sometimes even days, just to write three complete pages. When she was finally finished, sh

"Well... yeah, kind of. I think maybe the two of you need a way to connect where less feelings are involved. Writing down your thoughts is one way to do that. It's actually a thing my therapist has me do with Emily sometimes. Because when you write something down, you can reread it, and revise it, and make it say exactly what you want to say. And you can give it a day, and read it over again with a cooler head. Face to face, you're forced to say what you think right in that moment, even if you're not thinking straight at all. If you write it down, you've got a better chance of actually being understood." The whole idea sounded a little ridiculous to me, but I nodded and agreed. Past experien
