When the handsome young man in front of her did something she knew could harm her, Daem smiled at her as if to say, Don't be afraid to try to make mistakes in a world full of mistakes. ❝It's not that bad to learn something bad; that'll give you a lesson that will make you a better person.❞ this is meaningful advice. Don't be scared to do something wrong that will make you a better version of yourself. With every mistake, it will leave a lesson in our minds that we can use to improve ourselves. Angel took a deep breath, as if she were ready to make a mistake. I should not be scared to do something wrong; I should try it.

I remind her so she won't worry too much about it. "Oh no! Again? How could you let this happen, Hudson!" She turns angrily to Hudson. He looks ashamed to the ground and again he blames himself for this. "It's not Hudson's fault. I ordered something wrong." I defend him and he looks up at me noticing I'm not telling the truth. Meredith signs madly at him anyway. "No, it's not true. I ordered Ice cream for myself with peanuts and for Ashley without but then Ashley caught the wrong one. So, yes. You can blame me." He tells the truth. Sometimes he just should appreciate when I lie. I don't do this often.

We are constantly evolving, some far slower than others, and that leaves room for error. For mistakes. For bad choices. Because a mistake that is repeated is no longer a mistake; It’s a choice. Rowan chose to destroy our marriage. He chose to fuck my best friend while choosing to fuck me over. “I don’t even know why it bothers me anymore,” my voice was barely above a whisper.

“Mistakes come in many forms.” It should've ended there. I should've nodded, maybe offered a polite smile before returning to the chaos of my friends and my internal denial. Instead, I asked, “And did you make the right choice? Walking away?” He paused, at that. Perhaps, pondering my question. Then- “Sometimes, the wrong choice teaches you what to look for next time.” We sat in that thought for a moment. After that, I became… strangely relaxed. We talked for a bit. Or tried to.
